Cool hunt !!!!
What an incredible day, especially for Charlie!
I'm so glad you identified that button as a Fireman button. I found one with a similar design without the word "fire" on it and spent hours trying to figure out what kind of button it was.
Awesome finds guys.
My fav people .thank you all .❤

Awesome hunt Guys and Congrats to Charlie what a SPECTACULAR FIND 👊 stay safe and happy hunting . See you next week.
Lynn please do some dirt fishing yourself. You have an army of admirers!! Yeah anyway I love you big time.
Well…here’s the thing…I have chronic Lyme disease which causes a LOT of joint pain so I can’t hold a detector for more than a few minutes. For now I have to be happy just being there & surface hunting!
Holy SNAP you guys are going crazy 🤪 at the permissions
Excellent video with awesome content thank you guys for sharing this wonderful video with us six stars my friends
These videos are always amazing with the finds.
Pittsburgh PA my home town love the tag
Well Doug is bowed, corroded and worn so fitting he found it.
Hope to catch the live
Charlie seems to be liking the Legend!! You need to ask him about it on the next video! I found a firemen’s button in Oklahoma. I’ll IM you a picture of it.
God I wish I lived closer to y'all, don't know if I'd get an invite to hunt with y'all but being close to vall would up my odds, lol😂😂😂, ANOTHER AWESOME SHOW GUYS AND GALS, GREAT FINDS
That is the fake matt. I love him too but may better call him something else like george or somefink,.
Great job guys, so interesting, getting ready to use my new xterra
Pro in Howell Mi
Great hunt and fabulous button

The fire thing. Are you sure it wasn't a promotion for local men, who sold hot burning coals to those whose, fire had gone out?
Ooh, fun
Could Matt's copper be a William & Mary?
I cleaned it up and spun it every which way and got nothing. I thought I saw William & Mary at one point ,but we all know how that goes .there one minute gone the next😉
You guys are so blessed. I would give my right one to detect somewhere like that.. 😂😂😂✌❤
You’re right what??? Karen?
@@dogtagdoug6751 😂😂😂 tit, arm, leg you name😂😂😂✌❤
Please, for the sake of balance, keep all your body parts intact.😮
@@dogtagdoug6751 😂😂😂
cool fireman button and now I can't wait for next week Thanks guys.
It's not a trump it,if you look really close , it's his gun laying on the hunters shoulder, about a quarter of the gun is sticking past his head, the barrel is sticking out the back of the hunters neck, not a trumpet
Jason , irregardless is not a word.😊
Harry, I told Jason the very same thing. I won’t tell you the story, but I experienced a situation years ago and was told the same thing. However, Jason and I looked it up and now, according to the dictionary, it is a word and is an acceptable replacement to regardless.
@@dogtagdoug6751 Hi Doug seriously? Well, I stand corrected.Thankyou for the great video guys, irregardless of the damaged coppers.
Jason. Your show is a show about somethings.
Jason, do you ever try short periods of electrolysis on YOUR slick coppers? I mean if it's unidentifiable, what the heck?
Hi guys and Lynne me and Turd Ferguson enjoyed your video.Quick question what lidar maps do you use.
I like to use "boyds maps" and an app called "caltopo"
@@RichVanWinkle37 Aw thanks Rich I will definitely use those when I'm back in New Hampshire in two weeks time.
Large copper coins are my favorite. Im cheap. Ill actually take copper over silver. Lol. I have a large collection of those copper rounds. Its a beautiful metal when its new......or when it greens in the ground. Ill take large copper coins in the ground any day.
What ultrasonic cleaner do you use?
Makes you wonder how people could lose money like that back in the day.
One cent was probably like a whole days pay!
Speaking horn ,used by fire captains to shout commands.
6:50 william and Mary? Or are they only silver?
👍👍
Old fair grounds or what? What made you pick that field?
Origional settler cabin or trade site from mid 1600s. But Doug origionally picked it because huge fields and current house is 1850s
You are very lucky falling onto such a site! Here in Illinois we are lucky to get on an early 1800s site. @@RichVanWinkle37
The town, less than a mile away, was settled in the mid 1600’s by Quakers. They’ve farmed that land for over 300+ years.
Yesssssssssssss
I found same button Baltimore fireman’s insurance possibly
Looks like a William
♥
Can we see some cleaned up examples of your finds…please.
Yes, at the End of the Vid.
@@davemi00 I mean cleaned …like after they have wood picked and vinegar cleaned them.
Those Large Cents aren't worth much with dates corroded off. A shame 200 years in the soil does that but understandable. Those Large Cent shouldn't have been easy to lose. Big coins but a different world of no machinery & constant grass mowing. People also labored a lot harder. Things fell on the ground into high grass with little chance of ever being seen again. That silver is the worthwhile project. That silver 1829 bust half dime would sell on E-bay for a little over $100. All those silver coins over 100 years old in nice shape would have nice values. I see the gangs of men in these videos, I would think that cuts down on the chances of an irate property owner with a shotgun. Hunting up property owners continually to avoid that would also be a big hassle. The eastern 1/3 of this country just has this 200 year old stuff. Few people out west then. Indians were not dropping this stuff.
How much is a Bill Clinton inauguration button worth?
-100$
Probably have to pay someone to take it to the curb.
A cigar and some knee pads
It's worth a cigar from his special humidor.
@@johnleeshute LMAO! 😂😂😂
You need an umbrella hat to keep your camera dry
Hello Quarter Hoarder,Dog Tag Doug,Rich ,Charlie , matt and Lynn
Hi Gregory!
Well found on that fireman button Charlie! What a classic! All the very best to you all from this side of the Pond.
Indeed! Very nice!
At the end of this series you all should do a button review live of all The buttons you found at this place!😊
my god that would be like 200 buttons or more. I dug at least 25-30 myself. It would look cool to have them all out on display though.
Great video guys, awesome finds, great button Charlie, lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
Everyone scored some great finds but man, Charlie killed it- Congrats!! The fireman button is as unique an item as I've ever seen found- very cool. Your tease for next week's episode is approaching the professional level- can hardly wait!
That's the coolest button guy blowing horn! Congrats Charlie
He great job! I would like to take a trip to the eastern side of our great country. I am in N. California. I think it would be a thrill to fly out with my detector on a detecting trip to some old ground. Something we just don't have here. I will need to make a connection with some detectorist to help put the trip locations together. Would be great to come out for a week and give it a try on some way different targets. 😊
Charlie's fire button is one of the coolest things I've seen dug in quite a while. This field has been insane! I would never want to hunt anywhere else. At least for a year or so. ;)
I’m sure Herve would’ve loved the shoutout 😂
Nah, it would go over his head.
Wow what a day! Absolutely love Charlie's fireman button! Great job guys!
Absolutely amazing finds! That location is only missing one thing...me being there with you all 🤣 That button Charlie found is absolutely ridiculously wicked awesome!!
10th like, good afternoon, quarter hoarder.
Nice to lose count of your finds I need to get out there this year there are a lot of places I need to check out just transportation hopefully I get a car soon
Another awesome video guys!
Great hunt very awesome finds I have a couple questions what type of bag does Rich use and what mode to yas run on your Legends God Bless and happy dirt fishin…Virgil
Good to see you guys out hunting again today. Looking forward to thursday's Quarter After
How do you clean all these items after you get home with them ? You can’t soak them in water can you ? Unfortunately I can’t see your live tomorrow I am working at the hospital .can you explain how you clean these wonderful coins or other items after you arrive home ? Any input would be great from anyone . Thank you all in advance quarter hoarder family ❤️❤️🌻🌻🌹🌻
The Fireman on the button looks like he takes fire to peoples houses for light their fires. He is carrying fire in a small bucket on a stick. A bit like the old 'Lamp Lighters' in England. Great finds, see you on Thursday!
after using the Legend for awhile how is the rechargeable battery/system holding up and overall quality? thinking about getting one
If I said it was awesome, well, that just doesn't cover it. Even though you have taken the "easy" targets, feel sure there is more.
