I'm from Dumfries but now live in Brazil so it was great to ride this virtually alongside you. Seems there are some new sections I don't remember but it's a really underrated trail - some great sections.
@@mtbfree4914 thanks. I did it yesterday and loved it. The last section was awesome. Caught me out a few times and best to have walked it first i think. Good jumps and fast descent. Cheers
This place looks incredible. Is that just one of the red trails? Thinking of going there at the weekend. Not sure if it's a bit much for me and my hardtail lol. Cracking vid 👍
It's always a pleasure to watch Rusty rail those berms with his ears flapping away haha. You may know already, but they have built a new final descent recently. I rode it last week and made a video if you're interested ua-cam.com/video/KtdqD8KlX70/v-deo.html
Rusty 🐕 says thanks 👊. He’s currently snoozing on the couch after being out at Kirroughtree earlier. Thanks for sharing your ride, no I didn’t know it had all changed - probably due to the forestry operations. It looks like there are loads of loose chippings on the new trail…..think I’ll leave riding it until those are gone!

That’s a bit of a change of lifestyle! Bet the weather is better though. Yeah the trail is great I love riding it.
That's one fit dog 😉 thanks for sharing your ride 👍
He’s a gem! He loves coming biking 👍😍
Man! Wish I had a trail dog. Trail looks really good.
He’s a gem 💎 most of the time - he does have his moments though 😂
That flow section is brilliant last time I was there it was cut off at the road crossing. Need to go back and finish it. Great video 🤟🏻
Cheers mate. Yeah I like Ae.
Your dog is great 🤘
Col Rock100 - thanks 🙏 he’s a gem 💎
I love the pacemaker 😎😂🐾🐾 Another good video, thanks for sharing.
Haha! Yes he doesn’t hang about!
Is it well signed? What's the distance of the red please
Yes it’s well signed. From memory around 25km.

Yeah it's the best bits of the red trail at Ae. It's do-able on a hardtail - just a bit bumpy and rough at points.
