And the story of how this song was written speaks to my heart so loudly. I have a son, much like her brother, who has accepted the Lord in the face of great adversity. I'm sending him this song as a guidepost.

I am tearing, for the love of God, for this song, and for precious Dottie Rambo, who has touched my life and a multitude of others now and to come, with all she has given to us in her love & gifts of our LORD. Rest dear precious sainted sister, you are safe and sheltered in our beloved Jesus arms. Our love & prayers to Reba, Donnie, and all the family and loved ones, as our Comforter will hold each close in His love & grace.
Thank God for inspiring Ms. Dottie to write such beautiful soul-stirring songs. She was truly amazing and is surely missed. However, I believe in my heart that she is now making and singing beautiful music in the heavens.
