I love watching the big boys get the spotlight. I think that flag addition is a good idea. Another idea I was thinking for the future since a lot of these dline (mostly interior) seem to start in one gap and finish outside somewhere. Let the guards work too. I think 1v1 is still good, bit 3v2 interior and 2v2 or 2v1 exterior would be better. NFL prospects are looking more for that guy know more than ever that can take on multiple blockers at a time and win or at least stay in the play so other players on the defense can be dominant as well. As for the oline it benefits scouts to also see what prospects are good with communicating with the guy next to them for switches, slants, who will pickup the secondary if they rush late or show early. All starts in the trenches!

@@bishlap man born and raised in Pittsburgh. And I dont get it either. Hes not the best, but he has a hell of a resume and has done so much for Pittsburgh. To be honest, I dont even engage with other Steeler fans. I see why people dont like Steeler fans. Tbh I'm scared to see the Steeler transition. I'm 26, so I dont remember football without Ben🤦🏽♂️. I can tell you this, EVERY COWBOY HATER (me of course) Loves the Steelers bc they were the only team to PUNCH THE COWBOYS in the mouth!! Dallas was a finesse team and did not like the rough stuff the Steel Curtain dished out. We Giants fans rooted hard for Pittsburgh to beat the Cowboys in those Super Bowls - they will always have a place in my heart! Good Luck in 2022/23. The foundation of every great football team is the offensive and defensive lines, no surprise Tomlin is there. The Steelers get it, hopefully the Jets coaches are taking notes.

Should this be a daily drill for high school O and D line along with simulated runs reading for ball location, fighting through reach blocks, etc? Too much wear and tear or just right? Seems like this is the best way while critiquing after each set.
