I'm not sure I'd I will review the phantom deck, as it is already a super well known, established release. I have it and love it. I perform phantom deck a lot. You can't go wrong with it.
@@BAM_magic yeah, i know how famous it is but i just wanted another review from your point of view. With a full and uncut performance it would be awesome 😀
Very nice review Blake and I just purchased Prism Plus so I'm looking forward to putting in some practice time and performances. Lots of good new information, so can you slow it down just a little on your presentation? Thank you.
Great review! Curious about the gimmicks card though. No worries if you can’t answer this but does it have a crease or fold that most f**p cards have? Will it pass visual inspection from 2-3 feet away? Thx!
Thanks for watching! As for the gimmicked card, it's similar to a f**p card, but no elastic. It uses something in all households, including non-magician houses. It does kind of have a visible part on the middle of the card, but no one should see it, especially because of the specially designed back design. Also, Josh teaches you how to cover up the visible part while spreading through the deck of cards. It should pass visual inspection.
Great review! Quick question, does the effect require a Faro shuffle though? That’a one of the sleights that I have trouble getting consistently. (Also why I don’t use Mnemonica stack).
@@johnmcintyre6267 You're absolutely right. It is pretty shiny. However, I would rather that small discrepancy over the gimmick constantly breaking. I would rather have an elastic thread flap.
Honestly I don’t like when people preform magic online to the exact presentation the tutorial talked about without making it their own. Chris Ramsey latest video explains this very clearly. I think magic would be a better art if this issue didn’t exist.
Hi Raymond, thanks for sharing your take. I agree with your point, that people should not be performing the exact routine from the tutorial. However, this is a magic product review. If I were to perform Prism Plus in real life, would do my own variation of the effect. The main point of a review is to talk about what you get, and the attributes of the trick that everyone learns, which is the reason that when I do a performance in a review, the routining is the same as in the tutorial. I want to show everyone what they learn how to do when they buy the effect, rather than something I came up with.
Superb! Many thanks for this review :) Will you please make a complete and detailed review on the Phantom Deck ?

Sounds great 🎉 Im becoming a big fan of these color changing deck plots. Fantastic review Blake ✨🎩💯
Thank you! I love color changing decks as well. Thanks for watching.
@@BAM_magic I love the Chris Angel version with a double backer. Easy and very impressive. ✨🎩

Is there a trick taught on the new video using the Rorschach image cards?
I'm not sure. I would email Vanishing Inc.
Yes, he does teach a trick using those cards. It is called Roshock. The effect is 4 Rorshach cards turn into 4 kings.

Thank you! I will slow down a bit more in the future.

You don't need a perfect faro. As long as some of the cards interlace, you're good. If it's too much trouble, you can do a tabled riffle.
Just got this in the mail today!
Nice. How do you like it?
@BlakeAleongMagic not bad. The flap gimmick broke after using it a few times 😅
@HorrorCode7 Use p*****g t**e.
@@BAM_magic i think its a bit too shiny, unfortunately. Trying to find a stronger version of the recommended material.

Great in-depth review! Im looking forward to learning how to perform this. DIY, not so much. LOL
You can do it! I recommend using pa**ing t*pe.
@@BAM_magic now you got me playing Wheel of Fortune (fill in the blanks). 😂 Good for you for not revealing the secret. 👏🏻
Message me if you want to know the preferred material! It works well.
This looks super interesting. Did you think it was hard to learn?
It was not too difficult. It's mostly the choreographing that requires some work.
how did you get access to this trick. I want to buy it but it is sold out.
I bought before.
Sounds cool, but wish this was more durable.
That's understandable. I use p*****g t**e.
