So GREAT AND interesting video. In my country, there is also a style of TREE which have very large leaves but after BEING WIRED, they are gradually smaller.
Hey Gerome, thanks for sharing this vedio, I hav a 2 years old sea hibiscus whose leaves r huge, now I know how to reduce leaf size n get nore branches after watching this this vedio, thanks again👍
if you make the middle stem (which I think you want it to make it a sacrificial branch for healing the wound), into a third trunk to fill in the middle part of the tree and connect the left side to the right side, I think it would make the tree look better. And in the future if you don't like it, you can always cut it off. Anyway a great job as always.
Whats up. ! Something caught my eye pause 9.36 the angle of the tree tilting to the left and potted slightly more to the left . Oooooh. Check it. Either way looks great flat also great video and i mean someones gotta be boss right! Haha
I'll tell you what I think, I think it is terrible that someone damaged your property. I had a huge argument with my neighbor because the branches from my live oak are extending over on his property. I can't help that the lots here are the size of a postage stamp and the developer planted it six feet from the property line. He wanted it cut to the property line (which would have looked ridiculous) and the HOA told him no, it isn't interfering with any structure. 🤣
Hey Matt, Deciduous trees are best done in spring after first flush hardened. Tropical trees are best worked in the summer time. This video was made in the summer and just posted now.
@@WeareTheBonsaiSupply Gosh, i guess i would have to get to know the tree. Does it have a distinct personality yet? My daughter adores all things Tolkien and no doubt would suggest Telperion or Laurelin, the two ancient trees of Valinor who brought light to the world.
i love the shape of the tree & the pot is lovely
Gute Arbeit Jerome und Mary! Sieht gut aus!
Thank schoen Basti!
This video was one hell of an emotional rollercoaster. I hated the neighbor, I loved the tree and I learned so much.
What a beauty! I love the variety of trees you work with. Thank you for sharing the knowledge

Hi, The tree used to have a third trunk, check out the video here: ua-cam.com/video/cCtf13OfNto/v-deo.html
Something similar happened with my fukien tea but it was not a palm tree. Turned into a emergency repot, few branches lost. I feel your pain!

I’ve read that this type of work has a better success rate if performed in spring. Is it dangerous to do it now as winter is approaching? Thanks

These are available in south fl?

Hi Jerome - we re all looking forward to see what the tree looks like in 2021! Oh - what is the tree's name?
Hey Alexander, we will definitely show an update in the Summer. I don't have a name for it yet, any suggestions?

It looks like the variegation is gone when the smaller leaves came out. Is that normal? Will it still make the reddish and white leaves?
The variation isn't going away, the smaller leaves also have the trim colors.
Nice tree! Can you do the same leaf removal on a Sea Grape?
Hey Jack, you sure can!
@@WeareTheBonsaiSupply Thanks!!
Hibiscus tiliaceus
Yes tricolored
So u fought with tht gentle man who cut the palm tree over ur Hibiscus...🤔🤔🤔
