She intones the scene with inner means, practiced consideration with emotional precision, her vocal hooks have us willingly roped and tied, as the melody flies by in controlled harmony, in eye gazing mouth blessed liquid mind gold coming from Morgan in waves of life saving hypnotizing freedom, oh my.
My gawd! Beautifully enunciated, bringing out layers of emotion and creating in the listener's mind a visual recreation as well. We live the story with her as she sings it.
Morgan is such a pleasure to watch and listen too, such class and talent and extreme beauty! But I can’t help but admire Doug’s fingers making love to the fretboards of the guitars he plays! These two truly compliment each other!
I'm glad you both found your passion in music. My mom, 85 , raised me on rock n roll and Elton was one of our favorites. You both do this song with so much respect, soul, Love, perfection. I said it before and I say it again I LOVE YOU, GOD HAS BLESSED YOU BOTH..........
It is SO easy and satisfying to blast out the big/high notes on this song (God knows I do it all the time in the car). It takes a ton of skill and restraint to NOT do that, and instead sing it with a bit more nuance and restraint. Both approaches are great, but the way you sang it it here is rarer and lovely to hear. P.S. If you ever wanted to cover "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters" I bet it'd go over really well.
Thanks to you both for that escape to the sublime! Morgan you are my favorite singer, I love your interpretations, you make each song your own. Beautiful!
Truly TRULY beautiful! Your tones and intonations and sincerity shine through. Very wonderful. Thank you. You couldn't possibly not be a lovely person. Thank you for this.
Thanks kids! This ol'man's still smilin' from the pure joy of listening to you guys... But again, if you guys read these comments? Please consider 2 recommendations..., Love to hear "you" do Cat Stevens: "Where Do The Children Play".... & a real oldie..., "Deep Purple" by April Stevens and Nino Tempo.... Whoahhhh...!
If anyone has ever wondered what the exact and complete lyrics are for this classic Elton John song, you can hear each and every one of them perfectly on Morgan’s cover of this piece!
Very nicely done,. Loved it. Out of curiosity, would love to hear the people who give you the thumb down. I understand every tune can't be to everyone's taste. Can't be all thing to all people. But before giving someone the thumb down, one should be able to say "Here is what is wrong with this piece, Here is what should be done differently". Then you have a case. And honestly, I can't find anything that's not "right on" on this performance. You two are great. Keep on keeping on.
The only singer in Morgan's league regarding delivering clear, perfect lyrics is Karen Carpenter...and that is an extremely elite league... Thanks for your songs Morgan
Interesting dynamics but I think it was too subtle for most, maybe slightly lost... Such a great underrated artist! Try and hook up with Dave Stewart 👍🇬🇧
Watched all these. Incredible voice beautiful lady. Wonderful technical guitas player with obvious jazz influence. However I wish the guitar was louder. Also the syncopated rhythm is overdone on a lot of tracks. This track is great.

It's an I'll timed rendition. Partly due to the intro
@@tlansing18 Oh, c'mon, sugar bear, Morgan says you're a butterfly. You're free to fly. She makes me feel like I am, anyway. :)
Truly beautiful . Well said my friend
Hehehehehe best description I've ever heard

Fantastic love from the UK
Exquisite. Gave me chills. Elton would be flattered and proud.
Always go back to your #41 cover, still touched and pray for your friend who inspired you, and his family. Beautiful sould as your talent. 🤘
Gorgeous, Morgan, a favorite of Elton's, thanks
Morgan James, you have a treasure trove of quarantunes here. Great guitar player too!
Wow superbe voix et tellement d'émotions...!
You are an angel from heaven!
I'm a lifelong Elton John fan and, yes, I absolutely loved it. You nailed it! Congrats!!!
The best part of my day is listening to the two of you!!
Beautifully sang. I did not believe this song could be done where the lyrics are so clear to understand.
One of Morgan's best covers. Outstanding!! The guitarist was also excellent.
You two are beyond compare. From american standards to this. No one comes close. Thanks for this and all the others. Take care.
You are such a beautiful soul!!!
We were fortunate to hear Morgan in Philly, right before the shutdown. Such a pure voice and so gracious with the fans!
I really truly enjoy these interpretations as they are beautiful and unique. I'll never get enough of just you two.
Morgan is such a pleasure to watch and listen too, such class and talent and extreme beauty! But I can’t help but admire Doug’s fingers making love to the fretboards of the guitars he plays! These two truly compliment each other!
Amazing that 1 guitar and a voice can sound so good!
A song that drips emotion beautifully sung.
One of my favorite Elton John songs. I remember hearing it on the radio when I was a kid... which was well before you were born! :)
Great interpetation! You made it your own. A beautiful voice! Soft and sweet at the right emotional expressions. Enjoy your singing 😊

A gem to wake up to🙂

Looked through your songs and was a little surprised that you had not tried to cover Tonight by Sir Elton yet.

Thanks guys. Such a nice job with this song.
Nice. Would sure like to hear more original music instead of covers. These two have talent to burn and would be so creative.
Wow.
No hope for me, I'm roped and tied.
Bernie, where do you get your awesome hats?
Wow!
The only singer in Morgan's league regarding delivering clear, perfect lyrics is Karen Carpenter...and that is an extremely elite league... Thanks for your songs Morgan
Beautiful. Heart wrenching song about Elton’s suicide attempt.
Has she covered ...
Any Major Dude (Steely Dan)
Bitter Creek (Eagles)
Fields of Gold (Sting)
Morgan, first thing that comes to mind.... With that red dress, you should be singing Bizet's Habanera.
Thank you!
-05 Oh this is going to be good.
This is a first. It took nearly until 3:40 for the chills.
When I grow up I’m going to play guitar like that. What the hell chords are those?
I Love You
Your phrasing is different in places, but it works!
Interesting dynamics but I think it was too subtle for most, maybe slightly lost...
Such a great underrated artist!
Try and hook up with Dave Stewart 👍🇬🇧
Wow, that's better than Sir Elton ever sang it!!
Stop ...right. there
Disagree. Though this is lovely

A very good version, but Lena Hall`s one is better
I get the fact that your voice is strong but I cant hear the strings ....
