Looks extremely cool. Going to check these out. My drummer is already half deaf and his mission in life is to deafen the rest of us. This will show him.
Tell your drummer. To chill tinnitus is not a joke im a drummer and i suffer from it and its not cool not the end of the world. But a inconvenient thing to live with. Tell him to buy several types of hearing protection like these molded kind ear gasems etc etc. hard to be musicians if you can't hear 👂
Watching this on the day I've been fitted with two new hearing aids. I'm now profoundly deaf on the left and severe on the right. You're so right. FOLKS TAKE CARE OF YOUR EARS YOU CAN'T GET REPLACEMENTS!
@@stevieboy444 How and why? Don't know why but it bothers and I'm genuinely curious! I swear figuiring this out will give me more peace than winning the giveaway! 😁
@@johnpacino4491 Sorry John! HP genuinely wants somebody to win this, so he's not going to make it hard. The inverted comma's gesture he makes with his fingers as he says "really complicated" implies sarcasm suggesting that the answer is easy. As the equation is far from easy I would assume that he means easy to guess. 1 or 0 are the easiest answers to guess and some may find the juxtaposition of a very complicated equation with a very simple answer mildly amusing. Once again, sorry....my bad!
An ad just came up for these, and when I started UA-cam research, BAM there was your video! I think I'm going to go for it for me and my gal. Thank you Henning!
My reality is that I have to fight everyday to understand what people say to me. If you actually knew me you would get sick of having to say the same thing over & over again so I could hear you, and that's with lip reading! The weirdest thing is that after having a word repeated to me several times, my brain works out what had been said, and then it feels like I had the same sentence said to me multiple times like I am thick!!
I've wanted to try a pair of these since I saw Erik Arkös review, but they haven't been available for shipping to Sweden. Really happy to see them arriving to Thomann!
I'll take plastic over a machined metal. I've noticed that some metals give me a skin rash after prolonged exposure (back of pants button, some necklaces). The idea of that feeling in my ears is terrifying
Sorry to hear about your hearing loss. I've had tinnitus since before I was 20 years old. I'm 40 now. I wish my music teachers in school, that let me play the drums on recess, at least once said that hearing protection is important. Or that they mentioned it at all.
Sounds Great! I only need one as the other ear already has a big loss (-35db) and thus uses a hearing aid. It would be so nice if I could order just one or two of the same.
Thank you so much! Your channel is amazing. Your animals are adorable. I can’t math but if I could I would do answer your question. I also don’t play in a band so I feel like even if I could math I wouldn’t want to take away from someone that could really use these. Great episode I could using them for shooting but I have custom ear plugs for that. Thank you so much!
I got a set of these to try out a while back and they really are good. Free shit without being an influencer because I left a nice comment on Erik Arko's channel; :) I've used them for a few gigs and lots of rehearsals and they're as good as they claim. As a bass player I find the regular types lost too much attack and everything sounds muddy. Not with these - I can hear everything clearly and no ringing ears even with stupid volume in a small room.
These aren't cheap! BUT, I will buy a pair as soon as I'm done buying my guitar or two, and three more pedals. So, in about six months. I trust the review, but I won't be mad at Henning if they don't fit me.
FYI a replacement ear tip is not available nor do they have a price for it. needless to say it is not a product that I am willing to invest in. regardless of their “current deal”! the Minuendo has been out for some time, so they have had plenty of time to put this in place. just sayin...
I know this is pretty late but probably not. This is more for concerts and for musicians who want to maintain sound clarity when wearing them. At a shooting range I’d opt for something that has a higher noise reduction rating
they work great! not that sturdy though, my magnet that attaches them already fell out. I prefer my full custom plugs for band rehearsal and use these for live shows when I wan to be able to adjust the volume more to my liking.
I went to Steve Vai show five years ago with no ear protection and stood front and centre all night. And that's how you get tinnitus in your early twenties...
This was a really (unnecessarily) long promotion...why did you not test them in a loud music environment? Still, I was already looking at these and I'm going to get a pair as I have tinitus curtacy of Alice Cooper (and then later a really loud pair of headphones whilst DJing....stoopid.) My appreciation of live music is now ruined, my ears are whistling at about 10KHz right now. All I can say is PROTECT YOUR HEARING 'cause when it's broke, it's broke for good. Even a cheap pair of earplugs taken to a gig is better than nothing. I know too many people with tinitus from loud gigs. :-( ..........(Edit, as these come from Europe there is also the extra £20 or so import/VAT duty to consider)
Influencer, you?. You have a 'freind' with tinitus and your trying to scrape money from a set of ear plugs that as far as i can see have no authorised audiologist indorsement. No wonder there is little integrity between music and business.
Looks good. Good specs, but I don't trust anything that has a 10 year warranty. It kinda makes you wonder why it has a 10 year warranty and the quality your getting. I'll pass, but good luck to everyone else.
@@janegilfjeldsaunet699 It seems that a lot of manufactures will give a longer warranty expecting their product to fail at some point. Leaves a question about the quality.
The idea of that long a warranty is they dare take that risk because they expect them not to break. And expect not having to hand out new ones all the time. Sorry I don't get your point.
