  • It is one of the most impressive celebrations that take place every year, in June, where every farmer invites friends and relatives to help him in this difficult task and afterwards they celebrate all together.
    “Koura” is a difficult process, since many hands required with knowledge and technique, while sheep are often difficult. Pre-harvesting (tail and tail haircutting) takes place at the beginning of Spring, while in early summer, the whole shear takes place.
    At one time the inhabitants used wool, which was a valuable raw material, for making fabrics in rocket and loom. Today they sell “for a piece” of bread to gamblers and in return they get no money, but products.
