Vigan, Ilocos Sur (The spanish Colonial Atmosphere). One day Adventure at Siudad ti Vigan

I can never, ever forget my memorable visit to Vigan City,a place in Ilocos Sur, found at the Northern part of the Philippines, about 408 kilometers from Manila. This is the only place in the Philippines that has successfully preserved its Spanish colonial atmosphere all through the long years. The Department of Tourism Philippines has been actively campaigning to invite tourists to visit the beautiful places in the country and Vigan is one of those in their website. I got enticed with the DOT's campaign and the good reviews about this place and hence one summer vacation, I arranged for a visit to the place with my family and few close friends.
It felt like the time was too fast for us. It was so hard for us to leave the place especially with the thought that we still have yet to see the other wonderful tourist's attractions there. But as the time to go came, we had no recourse but to say goodbye to that historic town with a promise to go back again. Next time around I thought it would be better to allocate at least 2 or 3 days in exploring all the historic places in Vigan without rushing. As traveling alone takes a day so it is 2 days in total to travel to Vigan City and back to Manila, hence 5 days vacation leave will be sufficient. I would also bring more money so I could buy as many souvenirs as I want.
