I like how you reviewed the sock liner inserts also!! What's your comparison between these inserts versus an insole such as Superfeet or Curex? Any pros/cons?
Put the power run insole from the 21 into the 22 and watch the difference in bounce. That's the reason the shoe felt so poppy I actually use the insole in other shoes including the cumulus 25 and it's night and day with how it rides. The orthilite deadens the response and energy.
Triumph 20/21 were so good they were cannibalizing other Saucony's daily trainers. I think these changes are to make this shoe specialized for one thing, long easy & easy recovery runs.
Seems that Saucony are moving the Ride and Triumph to the easier end of running maybe to push more people towards also buying the endorphin range for more up tempo runs
I really don't see the point of adding pebax foam to a max cuishon shoe. They should have left it with the tpu all over and maybe just those minor changes like the wider base(although I don't feel like the 20s and 21s need extra stability). Cool, now I don't need to spend a bunch of money on a new model if I already have a winning horse in the form of t20s/21s...guess I will stick with one of these this year as well.
Not gonna buy this 22 for sure. I am only waiting when triumph 20 or 21 will be on sale again for 65-70$. I have already bought a pair of 20 for 65$. And I am happy with them. No need to look for anything better for me. It's a masterpiece and pure magic. If only I could know this before I would definitely order at least three pairs for the price.
Probably my most anticipated shoe of 2024 amd wow...such a letdown. They really had a chance to make this shoe comparable to the likes of the nike invinciblec or maybe even the superblast. But instead made the shoe more "dad" friendly by going with a firmer ride, wide sole, and stable ride...Saucony said "screw real runners...we want the casual crowd"
@YanDaddyy come on...superblast is light, nimble, can do all of your training...the triumph has lost its identity...whatever its trying to be, other shoes do it better.
Soft foams are trash. The Triumph needs to remain a firmer option. Haven't touched them since 19. I heard they lost sales when they went to the terribly soft foam in 20-21
I bought this shoe last month and put in mostly easy miles and the shoes hurt the balls on my feet . The 20 was such i smooth ride and this shoe is going to be the only shoe i ever returned. Im sure many like it but for me it was horrible. Luckily i have a great membership and have 90 days to return it used
Finally some honest review about the triumph 22. Thanks

I do excactly the same thing.
This Powerrun+ insole is such a Gamechanger i even change it into the Saucony Speed 3 so much better😮
I liked the 21, but did find it a bit unstable in the rear, maybe that is why they widened it.

Bro, superblast has a firm and stable ride, wide sole...
Weight on the otherhand is opposite LOL

@@Frichilsasta08his points are still valid, super blast is a stable neutral, with a wide base.
@@frontierlandfrank5314 missing the entire point of my original comment. Have a good sir 👍

Triumph 22 is getting universally negative reviews.

@@bikerdude6119 I have the Triumph 20 that I just bought fairly recently on a steep discount and I like it pretty well.
Wow 😍🎉😍🎉😍🎉
Flop
After the abomination they called the Ride 17, i’m not surprised they ruined the Triumph line as well. So sad.
