Stupendous Tashiding Gompa Early Morning Sun (West Sikkim) - India 2009 [HD]

A steep, 40 minute, prayer-flag lined, stone-path walk up a conical hill, 17th century, Nyingmapa order, Tashiding Gompa is Sikkim's most sacred monastery complex surrounded with the most beautiful (skillfully carved by master craftsmen) & vibrantly colorfully painted Tibetan stones and mani stones, ancient chortens and mani walls, fluttering colorful flags, stupa clusters, and an enormous, glittering resounding prayer wheel with Tibetan script. Sense its 'haunting aura, unstopping, ancient and sacred'.

I visited this Monastery last year as ahurricane visit to Sikkim . I never knew that this place was sacred until now when I am reading about the Beyul valley , the most revered and most sacred , mystic part of Sikkim > I come to know now about ths From Thomas K. Shors book called Step away from Paradise. I feel like visiting this Gompa NOW , I turned that huge wheel, and I feel I am so Fortunate .
