Hi, I checked the manual and it does not specify if this process will work on your Vizio TV, So, if this process seems to not be working, then, the only way to reset it would be by following these steps: press MENU > System > Reset & Admin > Reset TV to Factory Defaults, thanks for watching

Thanks for asking, I'd like to ask if you are looking to buy the power cord or what kind of cord are you looking for ?
let me inform you that for this particular Vizio smart tv model(V505-J09) the power cord is built-in so it can not be removed nor replaced, however if you have Vizio model that the power cord can be unplug and plug back into the tv then you can try to buy it off Amazon or Walmart, thanks for watching if you still need more help let me know
