Thats because of Weapon mods, again. Exotic weapons are a problem bc you can't put attachments? They are still hitscan? They come with random attachments or none at all but you can put your own? Mods are a problem for this game
I personally feel the bullet drop balances out the first person scopes. It's just too easy to beam people with first person scopes and hitscan weapons. The bullet drops adds another layer to get used to and good with, it's is awesome.
I think first person scopes were the start of the end for Fortnite. It feels really good to use but at the end of the day fortnite is not a first person game which makes every season with a new adaptation of the first person scopes feel less and less like Fortnite
Honestly I’d rather be beamed constantly than have the horrendous bloom old weapons had. Bloom is a terrible mechanic that is just rng. Recoil is way better for balancing.
Don't miss augments honestly. They became a chore and most of them were bad/mid and so we would just spend gold to reroll till we got the one we wanted.
Almost everyone likes Medallions but okay. Cars have never been OP. The only way they could be op is if you cannot understand the concept of adapting to them. "It feels like Fortnite" explain what FORTNITE feels like.
Weapon mods do feel nice, but a big issue is how they allow you to mod your weapons. In Season One of Chapter Five, you had mod benches in vaults at POIs like Lavish, Glacier, Fencing, and Railways. Now, since last season, mod benches are almost exclusively in weapon bunkers. Now, this wouldn’t Be much of an issue if they opened up around the second storm, or even let you break into them before they opened, but instead you have to wait till at least half the lobby is dead just to get into one, and you’re unsure whether you’ll even be able to customize your weapon before grenades are shot down, killed by a boom bolt, or by some other overpowered item and killed because you didn’t modify your weapons at the speed of light. If they kept them in the vaults of the old POIs (The ones that weren’t Thanos-snapped), or even placed them in certain gas station garages, it wouldn’t be as problematic having to use a weapon with an unfavorable attachment for half the match and likely dying. My point being is that mod benches are a neat concept, but their placement was handled poorly.
3:35 Well the thing is, that's basically what Augments were. Snipers could mark players if you hit them, Scoped Weapons could have a slower fire rate but with higher damage, Shotguns could give Siphon every time you shoot someone with it. Ect.
We also need Mythics that are actually different to normal weapons. Rn mythics are just an upgraded version of its base weapon. Kinda like how skys assult rifle shot faster with better damage rather than a +1 damage boost. Mythics need a reason to be picked up and feel different to base weapons. Honestly I would like if they merged mythics and medallions so mythics like the boom crossbow has infinite ammo and not all your weapons
As someone who came in Ch. 5 and really got used to bullet drop mechanic compared to Reload weapons bloom spread, I'd personally quit the game if it goes back, like I didn't think I'd be uncomfortable shooting og scar compared to ch. 5 s1 scar I was surprised myself. Though I can understand the change isn't for everyone 9/10 times I'd still pick the bulletdrop one
I don’t think fortnite added bullet drop because of weapon mods I think it was added because of sweats and their ability to beam someone across the map with an AR because now if a sweat would try to do that they would probably miss every shot I actually don’t mind the bullet drop feature and and I actually find it helpful for someone who’s terrible at aiming can get some lucky shots in because I aimed a little too high I also like that I can live longer because a sweat can’t beam me with his hit scan AR
You don’t need to sweat to hit shots. To beam someone, all you need is a basic understanding of bloom and having someone in the tiny x on your screen. I think bots have warped the perception of what being sweaty is and what being a real player is.
@@atoasterinspace for real... and even with the changes an assault rifle can still absolutely destroy in the right hands, even a pistol or smg can be really good due to the fact it's now reliant on skill, not chance, thanks to scopes...
I think bullet drop is not a terrible idea but I think it doesn't have a place alongside the awful bloom a lot of the weapons in the game are known for. Bullet drop is skill based to land but we're still seeing stuff with awful accuracy on top of that to the point where scopes are semi-required at times (especially for ARs, say for maybe the reworked Combat AR). And likewise, the one singular weapon with really good accuracy with only a singular mod (the thunder burst SMG) is basically a necessity.
To anyone who wants to know why bullet drop exist is that in past chapters there were few fps guns. With no bullet drop these guns were way to op and the pros were complaining. To fix this fortnite could either remove all scopes or add bullet drop (there is prolly a third option but im not a nerd just saw a vid on this) and everyone likes scopes for the most part so bullet drop it was. I honestly love the bullet drop because it feels more logical when shooting. Hit scan felt very fake. Im trying to not use "unrealistic" because it a video game but logically when you shoot or through something and you are far away or the target is moving you think aim ahead or aim up. A few seconds in, I swear, if he says the problem is "Bullet Drop", "Bullet Physics", "Projectile Bullets", or anything like that? Im clicking off and making an entire video on why he is wrong.
OK, ill give you that one, the weapon mod system feels less like Fortnite and more like COD Its very tame and boring, and as a result only like 3 mods actualy make the guns significantly better.
They should remove the attachments and go back to what they did with their guns If the gun has a scope, it has bullet drop and no hit scan If the gun doesn't have a scope, it is hit scan, keep bullet drop tbh, you shouldn't be doing max damage 150 meters I want that, balanced and fun
Dont let scopes be moddable if hitscan gets added. Its been hypothesized that projectile bullets are a result of how fortnite lets scopes be 100% accurate since the red dot ar is op due to infinite range shots due to no bloom.
Another reason why they changed to hitscan to bullet drop is because hit scan can be kinda luck base if you hit your shots but with bullet drop off you don’t need to worry about it
Also I had an idea. In every chest you open you have a chance to get a key our augment. Keys could unlock new augments instead of the basic ones but they only last for the one match. Also they shouldn't make it limited to bunkers, there should be like modding stations all around the map but they only upgrade to a specific tier. And bunkers let you mod Epic and above guns.
i really really really really really really really really really really hope weapon mods and projectile based guns are a chapter 5 exclusive "gimmick" like augments were for chapter 4, and that everything will go back to how it was, because as a relatively "new" fortnite player, (i started playing on december of last year when the winterfest stuff was going on) using the fortnite reload guns personally feels so much more better and satisfying to play with than anything on ch5s3
This bro is really finding fault with the fact that shooting clunky, ultra-arcade shit has turned into something normal 💀 Epic games finished off the new shooting not because of the modification to weapons, but because the old shooting is very outdated. The idea of custom exotic weapons will be impossible to implement normally. Either it will be too unbalanced, or on the contrary it will be useless.
what's funny about the new weapons is, on custom games i've started leanign away from the, they aren't as fun to get elims with over the older guns...plus i've found im able to things easier with something like the semi-auto sniper over the customizable snipers they've added...just kinda hope they hear the feed back and revert things back to being fortnite instead of trying to be serious
I like the new weapons as they can be very powerful, the new sniper isn't modible but it would be way to strong if it was, and the Combat AR came back and it's crazy strong like the Thunder SMG.
My problem with the game isn’t the content it’s the players like this chapter was supposed to be a chaotic mass of cars and explosions but the sweats were pissed they couldn’t be sweaty and casuals were pissed the sweats were being sweaty
Bullet drop was added for the comp side of the game. Bloom was never competitive and red dot Ars with no bullet were always to strong. Feel free to test the twin mag ar in creative if you dont believe me. But i dont think that bullet drop is nice for the game because of server lag and fights where you and your enemie end up dead because of this feature.
In chapter 4 s4 the first person weapons were so op that you got 200 to 0 from 100 meters away so they had to do sth and this was their soloution but i dont like it either
insane how better fortnite reload, wich was made in 1 month feels to chapter 5, also no, your additions require an entire ui to use, wich kills simplicity, weapon mods, crafting, npcs and augments sucked bc you have to do a dead stop to just be able to use the new mechanic. simplicity must be a requirement
I'll never understand why you people prefer RNG bloom over accurate red-dots. The effective ranges are the same. We could have had accurate, non bloom iron sights by now instead of having to farm for a usable weapon with a sight or laser.
I feel like the weapon mods get rid of the unique aspects of the weapons, especially the same boring scopes for each weapon. It used to be so cool when a new scope came out cause it made each weapon really stand out
Chapter 3 was the best in terms of guns i think, no mitiche, just bunkers and keychests all over the map giving everyone the chance to get a good gun. It had 3 shotguns and everyone of them had a different playstyle. Good ars and smgs were a bit too strong
personally, i hate the movement changes, cuz just seeing them doesn't feel like i'm playing fortnite, instead it reminds me of roblox strucid.. but i think most ppl don't mind the change whatsoever
The mods fd-up the game Exemple : In previous chapter weapons had specifics things to them : silence, fast reload, heavy weapons..... And you needed to have like you're own stuff like, one silence, an AR, sniper, a shotgun And they were all special, now : MODS BENCH
Bro i genuinely dgaf about what the weapons are or whatever. Just change the ui back to normal and stop adding first person with these dumb attachments 😭
Also about weapons mods. There were 2 ways they could have gone with it. The way they did and the weapons still have uniqness with them and making every weapons bland and NEED attacthments, so we could really customise them. I dont know what way would be better
i don't think each chapter needs a big gimmick. ch1 and ch2 didn't have one and they were just fine. i agree with the map part tho. anyplace without a boss or mythic is boring and forgettable, there's nothing unique about any of the poi's
I would still love and enjoy Fortnite in fact I used to be a competitive player until little things such as the god awful walking animation and the new locker UI and Lego just keep me away from the game it’s really really sad to see how much money and effort I put into this game over the years just for it to become a Roblox rip off
The only thing I don't like about the new guns is if I have a mod for a sight, I just don't like it when a game is third person then first person for aiming I just want all third person or all first person not somewhere in between
I think that the most **PERFECT** season was C4S2. The weapons were perfect. The graphics were perfect. The vehicles were perfect. The gameplay was perfect The map was perfect.
Honestly I just want bulket drop guns and mods removed in chapter six and make the fun mods mentioned by you to be from a special type of upgrade bench that is all over the map but with the cost of the fun mod be like 600 gold bars
Chapter 5 in general seemed good to me, but it is true that the weapons are terrible even with mods, Some are useful in some weapons, but bullet drop make everything worse, Most mythic weapons are no longer worth it and there are no exotic weapons or key chests like in Chapter 4, Chapter that for me had the best weapons, (Red Eye, Havoc Shotgun, Twin Mag AR and SMG, Thunder Shotgun) Weapons that didn't need mods to be good
Look they didnt do it for mods they added bullet drop because everyones aim was literally TOO GOOD. PS. and there is no mod to decrease bullet drop so that doesnt make sense
since fortnite chapter 3 epic games tried so hard to make fortnite a call of duty, thats why so many people started playing fortnite after leaving warzone of that shit fortnite dosnt fell fortnite since chapter 3
So tired of seeing all these people crying about how Fortnite doesn’t feel like Fortnite. Chapter 5 has been awesome and you guys just don’t like change
I heard the reason they added bullet drop was to make it more skilled, and I agree, while playing reload, it so random to hit shot, which is a little fun but most of the time it’s annoying.
Gotta say Ive played this game since chapter 3 And i allways though that the weapons used bullet drop Thats a explanation why my aim wast crap in that era and why my aim so so much better now that the game actually has the thing
While you have some very valid points. I disagree with some of them. I think they need to increase the realism of gun play. Real AR bullets don't start dropping until 200 meters. If they want to make the gun play more realistic, they are more than welcome to. Any change is better than this BS bullet physics
I'll never understand Epic's insistence of making core changes to BR that nobody really wanted and will probably disappear by the time the next season comes around
"it doesnt feel like fortnite to me" Game is called fortnite? - check game has fortnite features? - check game has battle royale? - check then its fortnite i dont understand how people can say "this game doesnt feel like itself anymore", especially on a game that changes every few months like fortnite. its on par with minecraft players saying new features feel "modded". its different, but its the same game

i really really really really really really really really really really hope weapon mods and projectile based guns are a chapter 5 exclusive "gimmick" like augments were for chapter 4, and that everything will go back to how it was, because as a relatively "new" fortnite player, (i started playing on december of last year when the winterfest stuff was going on) using the fortnite reload guns personally feels so much more better and satisfying to play with than anything on ch5s3
Bro is cooking so hard right now
Epic Games should hire me

I like the new weapons as they can be very powerful, the new sniper isn't modible but it would be way to strong if it was, and the Combat AR came back and it's crazy strong like the Thunder SMG.
well done on your first fortnite vid that popped of you're slowly growing
Thanks dude
My problem with the game isn’t the content it’s the players like this chapter was supposed to be a chaotic mass of cars and explosions but the sweats were pissed they couldn’t be sweaty and casuals were pissed the sweats were being sweaty
in my opinion chapter 5 does not feel like fortnite because of art direction and map design
The map has gotten more Fortnite as the chapter has progressed
His replacement for the weapon mods is literally the augments that got removed 💀
Honestly the idea of turning your guns into exotics through augment style mid game drops is really cool but also super Fortnite.
It used to be so cool when a new scope came out cause it made each weapon really stand out
I like chapter 5 but it’s when I started so I have nothing to compare it to
Chapter 3 was the best in terms of guns i think, no mitiche, just bunkers and keychests all over the map giving everyone the chance to get a good gun.
The mods fd-up the game
Exemple :
In previous chapter weapons had specifics things to them : silence, fast reload, heavy weapons.....
And you needed to have like you're own stuff like, one silence, an AR, sniper, a shotgun
And they were all special, now :
MODS BENCH
Bro i genuinely dgaf about what the weapons are or whatever. Just change the ui back to normal and stop adding first person with these dumb attachments 😭
I think having weapon specific attachments IE: Dual Pistols for only pistols would be a good idea, all the weapons kinda just end up feeling the same.
i feel the same this chapter doesnt feel like fortnite but its a little bit fun on competitive
The mods should be crazy aah like underbarrel grenade launchers or weird ass stuff just as you said.
But in all honesty I like bullet drop
I don't mind attachments but I do prefer the og weapons with out weapon mods and bullet drop.
There were actually cool mods that went unused and is seemingly scrapped since we're already past half the short year
I hate the changed movement and bullet drop off so much
Also about weapons mods. There were 2 ways they could have gone with it. The way they did and the weapons still have uniqness with them and making every weapons bland and NEED attacthments, so we could really customise them. I dont know what way would be better
i just want a setting where u can toggle the old running/walking animations on or off. I absolutely HATE the way players run now. It looks so dumb 😭
Just put all the new weapons hit scam, but with no attachments and reloaded
i don't think each chapter needs a big gimmick. ch1 and ch2 didn't have one and they were just fine. i agree with the map part tho. anyplace without a boss or mythic is boring and forgettable, there's nothing unique about any of the poi's
The gameplay was perfect
The map was perfect.
PS. and there is no mod to decrease bullet drop so that doesnt make sense
since fortnite chapter 3 epic games tried so hard to make fortnite a call of duty, thats why so many people started playing fortnite after leaving warzone of that shit
fortnite dosnt fell fortnite since chapter 3
So tired of seeing all these people crying about how Fortnite doesn’t feel like Fortnite. Chapter 5 has been awesome and you guys just don’t like change
PLEASE DONT REMOVE BULLET DROP IVE SPENT A YEAR GETTING USED TO IT
I make the rules around here
@@TheBigCraigd ok king
Sure😂😂😂🤡@@TheBigCraigd
I heard the reason they added bullet drop was to make it more skilled, and I agree, while playing reload, it so random to hit shot, which is a little fun but most of the time it’s annoying.
Reload is just to sweaty
@@bigbadbananapeaL I agree
THANK YOU!!! This is literally EXACTLY how i feel about chapter 5 lol!
So underrated channel
And the exotic idea is soooo good
Gotta say
Ive played this game since chapter 3
And i allways though that the weapons used bullet drop
Thats a explanation why my aim wast crap in that era and why my aim so so much better now that the game actually has the thing
Shut up
I can't complain because I started playing in chapter 5 season 2
While you have some very valid points. I disagree with some of them. I think they need to increase the realism of gun play. Real AR bullets don't start dropping until 200 meters. If they want to make the gun play more realistic, they are more than welcome to. Any change is better than this BS bullet physics
im just waiting for the day they add augments back
Idk much but I started in chapter 4. I can tell you it felt better than chapter 5, take it from me
Your hired
Just play reload
5:25 bro cooked up a gourmet meal😩
I agree, i think every gun should have its own attachments
I hate:
New UI
New movement
Weapon mods
POIs
New movement items
Bullet drop
All random gamemodes that i need to update for no reason
Cars ..
Please please no pickaxe mods I don’t want my metal wall to get 2 shot
I'll never understand Epic's insistence of making core changes to BR that nobody really wanted and will probably disappear by the time the next season comes around
1:24 hey what about fencing fields or lavish lair? Easily the most iconic POIs of chapter 5

@TheBigCraigd u didn't even played and you say that chapter 4 was Better
@@andreabagala6207 I have never in my life said chapter 4 was better. I have no idea where you're getting that from

Update. in 2017 soo ye
Give mines back. 😁 / Add default mod pre-selection for benches.
Reality augments need to return
ngl you missed out on last resort it was fun af
just go the save the world route
stw has so many cool perks so why not add them to br
"it doesnt feel like fortnite to me"
Game is called fortnite? - check
game has fortnite features? - check
game has battle royale? - check
then its fortnite
i dont understand how people can say "this game doesnt feel like itself anymore", especially on a game that changes every few months like fortnite. its on par with minecraft players saying new features feel "modded". its different, but its the same game
Is the game currently good? - no
Then it's not fortnite

I think wat made fortnite fortnite was the hitscan but also the seven and the io it adds a level of mystery and you can get attached where as now the storyline changes every season and there is a few unbalanced items that have been here for weeks the last time i can think of it being like this is season x they dont listen to us as much as they knce did and the multiverse bullshit
@fortnite hire him
Sry but luckyness isnt competitive and and you know Epic doesnt to put apart casual and competitive play
Chapter 2, season 2 spy games was the best the first Era of Augments
Best non chapter 1 season
