At my church (Christ Fellowship Miami - downtown campus) last week's sermon was about Jesus' Compassion. I've been meditating on it all week which is what led my UA-cam to this sermon. When you can see, feel spiritual growth within, there's a sense of FUN that comes from learning about all the different aspects of God. Im 40, been in the church since age 3; have stumbled, backslid, been lukewarm, etc - but im still hanging in the fight bc i know God hasn't given up on me. I'm still very much a work in progress, but I thank God for reigniting my desire for spiritual growth. Hope these words inspire someone in the future as they read they read this. AMEN & AMEN
I was benefitted by the sermon...THANKS! One thought I would suggest though is from the imperfect tense of the verb, the miracle seems to be in the hands of Jesus rather than in the hands of the apostles. The NASB translates and inserts "He gave them to the disciples AGAIN AND AGAIN..." I believe that is why you've always seen it depicted that way.
