I haven't made it all the way through the video yet, but I'm over here yelling at you to tie two of the rubber strands around the stick. LOL
Tie fishing around the ball and then to the stick. Let the stick rest on the mold and hold the ball up. When you cut the fishing line it should disappear in the resin. This is such a cool idea!
I was thinking the same thing, clear fishing line tied to the base of a few strands of the ball. The line would allow adjustment in the length of the line and placement inside the mold
That was my answer as well or some matching thread would work
Great idea
I’ve seen someone do it with fishing line, it worked very well. It means it is easy to adjust how high you want the ball to be in the resin.
It IS perfect! I bet Dave has some fishing line in the man shed. It will disappear in the resin. Love this so much. ❤
I'm addicted to skulls and this is amazing. I love it so much. Well done. ❤❤❤❤❤
You can never bore me always a joy to watch you pour your heart out ❤❤❤❤
I love watching you create, Julie. And your excitement is contagious!!!
This turned out amazing especially with the light under it!
I see what you see the holographics is shining thru. Beautiful piece of resin art.
Thanks for sharing awesome content that is fun enjoyable and entertaining to watch.
Much love and many Hugs to you my online friend Julie.
Stay safe and be well my online friend Julie.
You have gone above yourself on this one! Amazing!
Julie if you just cut a little hole in the middle of that stick and stick the fibers in there then put the UV resin on top of it then use the lamp it would work a lot more better 😊. I love watching your videos, you give me so much inspiration and ideas of different types of things to do in resin. I’m almost down the bottom of your page of watching your videos. I’m a fan! Keep up the good work!
I seen the video of your grandson doing his handprints in resin, such an adorable idea. If you don’t mind I’m going to steal it.
Very Cool but beautiful Skull...Love All the colors and special effects with the light on. Very Inspired to think outside the Box..... Love the holographic teeth too...
I think you are the only one that can make a skull cute. I love what you do.
I truly love your enthusiasm. It’s unique for sure. I have never liked skulls but my son would love this
Ohhh I LOVE this!!!
It awesomene! I love it. I want it. Lol. (I want it, I want it, I want it, now). A little QUEEN there. 😅😊
Perfect!!! I loved the other one too, by the way!! Both are beautiful. ❤❤❤
Amazing Julie ❤
Hello there I'm not really into skulls. But this one is cute. I like that spike ball you have in it. That holographic really help to see other colors in it. I like it great job. Have a wonderful evening
I had SO many Koosh Balls when I was a kid. Love this!
That. Is. AWESOME.
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
Thank you
Really cool ! My daughter would love this .Thankyou for sharing this !
Love this,so cool.I would have used a glue gun to stick it to the lollipop stick as it’s not touching the resin. The holographic helped reflect the light around the skull.I think more than if you had left it plain underneath..Teal,y is cool, and a great way to use those balls too.🥰
Hey Julie! He is too freaking cool and funky...I love it!! The clear resin just makes it pop and the holo on the bottom looks amazing. Awesome job...Bravo!! Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!!🤗💀💙
jewels they actually have light that changes colors i brought one for my husband for Christmas cus i made him a skull too
Yay, it worked! That looks so awesome. He has a rainbow afro. I wonder what a black light underneath would look like. Very cool, sweetie. xoxoxoox
I'm scared to do my first pour too. Then again, I was scared to use my first power tool! A drill. Now I LOVE my power tools! I have a drill, little saw, Dremel tool, sander and I'll probably get some more power tools later!
Sometimes about all you can do is to accept the first time won't be perfect, give it a shot and worry about clean up after. Once you've gotten the experience, then you can worry about perfect!
You could resin a little peg or clip on to a stick then pop the strands in a peg and suspend, love this Julie x
I've just watched this video, and the first thing I thought was clothes peg
Wow, very nice!! My grandson soojld love that lamp in his bedroom 😅
I'm not really crazy about skulls but that looks really cool. thanks
He’s very cool! Very dimensional! Love it!
This turn out so cool, love it, Julie. 💖💖
So so beautiful!!
I am not much of a skull person put you always make them look so good. If you had a sphere mould a similar size to the ball you put in, you could do a series of inserting different themed spheres in the skull .... Lego, beach, floral, glitter/disco ball....
🙋♀️❤ So cute! You just have too much fun!
Love your skills and dragons.❤
It’s lovely. Love the effect in the eye sockets!😍
It would look cool with a glow in the dark Spiky ball
Thank you for showing such a fun creation! Lie this!
I love It! It is screaming Grateful Dead vibes to me.
That looks cool and neat at the same time
Oh my gosh! hahaha This reminds me of 1970s hair! haha. Love it!!
WOW SOOOOOOO COOL
Spectacular!
Julie, he is so cool ❤ AND this is a great video. ❤❤❤
That is so cool! I love how it looks on the light!
Another work of art! I love this!😍😍
Viewing from the caribbean lovely julie lovely
Love your creative ideas!!!
You're fun to watch and still teach us. Im new to resin so this was amazingly cool !!
The skull looks really cool, Julie! Great job!!
So adorable.
You could use a piece of clear fishing line wrapped around the popsicle stick and around a few of the rubber strands
I think stapleling to the stick might work. Love your creativity! ❤
Omg! Awesome!
Looks fantastic! The bubble adds interest and makes it look more real and interesting
Wow that's stunning x
So cool..luv so much ❤😊
I probably would have superglued it on..
So much fun to watch 😁
I would have tied fishing line to 1-2 strings. I use fine fishing line when I want to suspend items in resin
Absolutely too cool🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤😊
You could clip a binder clip to the ball then slide pop stick through the loops of the clip (the part you pitch to open clip) and then balance the pop stick across the top of the mold. P.S. Love your excitement when you demold,, looks great.
Looks fabulous 😍
That would be a cool jelly fish 2!!!
Looks crazy good 😊❤
I love watching your videos. I would love to try and use resin but have no space to devote to it or money spare tbh. Until maybe one day I get the chance to try myself I’ll keep watching you make amazing things 😊
A tiny rubber band would work perfectly around a few of the stringy things lol. 😊😊
Very cool idea.
You are right I will have to do this. So cool!
I would have taken one of the stretchy strings of the ball and stretched and tied it to the stick. Just tried it myself and it works..
That’s fantastic x
You'd save yourself a lot of work if you got some clear fishing line and a sewing needle. Easy attachment to these kind of string balls and easy to adjust the height with a slip knot at the end tied to a stick. Honestly, you could use the line to suspend anything with a bit of that instant glue or the UV resin and then cut off any excess string or just leave it in if the whole thing doesn't need to be crystal clear. Fishing line is very useful stuff. 😄
That said, this turned out really funky, as if the Rainbow Brite character went goth and wanted some new decor at her place, lol. Rainbow Goth it is! I like it! 😁👍
Beautiful job!!
That is really neat!!
I usually staple the end of such objects....either way looks amazing as always Julie.xo
Yep. Fishing line or clear sewing thread and a needle. Plus you could use the thread for other items you need to suspend
Oh I was getting worried! I’ve been looking for a video and I was getting the itch Julie!!! I can’t wait for my dragon mold to get here!!!
I tried this but failed to suspend the fidget ball. Bravo Julie, you’ve done it again.
Love it!
Wow it's so cool
There is lots of beautiful scenery in your head ! Incredible what you can achieve with just basic materials.. and of course your divine talents ! Blessings 🙏
Groovy❤💜💚
Love it! Very cool!
Looks great ❤
Tie some fishing line on to some of the purple spikes and then onto the stirring stick and then suspend it over your mould . No need for UV light etc. 😊
Fantastic!
the small rubber thread would hold very well in a slot made in the wooden spatula.
Love it going to have to get me a cushie ball
That is so Cool!!! 😊
Use a small bulldog clip and put a skewer through the holes in the clip which will sit across the base of the skull.
That worked out beautifully!!! I have seen the skull mold and it didn’t interest me because it didn’t seem very versatile. You have definitely shown that it’s not just a skull, but FUN! Thank you!
You will never bore us. Sweet little guy.
I love watching you do resin, it makes me happy. Halloween is my favorite time of year. And skulls are a big thing in my house. And thank you for all that you do. The rubber band balls that you use they are called koosh balls LOL but in my house we call them Fred. Lol
I’d tie a fishing line (mono filament) around it and suspend it from a pencil or something above. Maybe resting on the rim of the mold, if it’s sturdy enough.
I absolutely LOVE it!! It's fantastic!
You could put a slit in the lolly stick and slide a couple of bits of kooshie into the gap.
You can super glue the koosh to the stick. And use fish line to suspend of needed. Fish line disappears!
Great job
Looks so cool
Very cool!
I love the way the strands of the ball make the skull's eyes look!
