- Hey guys, today we are in Seiad California at a little place called The Seiad Cafe. We are here to take on the 9lb SEIAD CAFE Pancake Challenge. We have 2 hours to finish 5 of the largest pancakes that I've seen! If we finish, we get our meal for free and our pictures up on the Wall of Fame. However, if we do not, we will have to pay the very reasonable $18 price tag (or somewhere around there). This challenge started off as a 5lb challenge over a decade ago and was created for the hikers on the Pacific Coast Trail. It has recently grown to nearly double it's original size so let's see how we fare!

Congratulations on setting the new record. That was incredible! At 9lbs of pancakes, that was the biggest stack of pancakes I have ever seen! Well beyond me. Great job! 🎉 The cold plunge is nuts.

I used to make my elderly neighbor s HUGE Pancake just like those. Just 1 tho.. and I'd buy that tub of frozen Strawberries and just let them thaw... and then cool whip on top... and a Candle... but she lived it and thought I made everything myself. Lol.. ERLL DONE GUYS. 🫶😋👌

I had no doubt, Scott, that you'd finish those pancakes. I saw you eat the unlimited pancakes before. You seemed perfectly fine eating them. Next time you get the hiccups this works for me 100% of the time and I've been using this technique for 40 years. As soon as the hiccups start take the deepest breath you can and hold it for as long as you can then very slowly exhale the breath in your lungs. The hiccups are gone. If it doesn't work the first time do it again. It will stop the hiccups. You are one brave man going into 50° icy cold water. Wow

I find I get really bad hiccups to the point that they hurt and I find if I massage in a circular motion pressing a little bit where my sternum is between my pectoral muscles that it will stop the hiccups

I’m a big fan of pancake challenges, but 8-9LB of thick, dense pancakes with only a dollop of butter and, uh, two bottles of sugar-free syrup to help get them down sounds rough! And if even you had a hard time it must be hard…

For hiccups, I hold the water in my mouth- bend over and swallow while I’m bent over. May have to do up to 3 times- but always works
