@@nicholastartaglia4276 so what should we do about what he did a month ago, today? He was fined multiple times at Wimbledon. He has played and for the most part acted very well at DC. @@nicholastartaglia4276 lol I don’t have any unresolved trauma, Nick. Ironic you are a Nick as well. My point is pretty clear. People do bad things and turn a new leaf all the time. My approval of Nick’s improved attitude today, does not discredit his bad behavior in the past, nor does it discredit the potential for bad behavior in the future. I used the father analogy to try to personalize it for you so you see he is a human too. Someone’s son. But clearly that didn’t work and somehow you decided to diagnose me with “trauma”. I’m not sure how you think, honestly. Anyway, this is a pointless discussion with you. If he keeps doing well from here, I hope at some point you’ll stop responding by discrediting that effort. Nick was hitting his backhand in this tournament a lot harder than he did previously (except when he played Rublev - it was roughly the same next level backhand). I think that's really the key. He already has the serve and forehand weapons, not to mention ridiculous talent around the net.
As far as I'm concerned, he's in the top 5 in the world right now.

Thats what we've become accustomed to with the winning streak of matches lately, and what really draws the crowds. So its only fair to include some of the raw footage where we see the funny maybe a little crazy side of the self-talk thing. Trust me its a known fact to have benefits such as improving performance.
