I own both and I 100% agree with you! Fenty is my everyday flawless face, but Huda is my photo ready BEAT. I wouldn't wear huda on just a regular day because it looks extremely heavy on the skin and not natural in the slightest but when you want that heavy slay, then it's for sure the go-to. Both have great wear times and control my t-zone oils pretty well!!

nope. In my opinion, the estee lauder is a straight up full coverage foundation. Fenty is much thinner in consistency and is more of a medium but buildable coverage. I'd consider fenty a "natural" look if it wasn't soo matte lol - no one's face is that matte without makeup.
So I have acne scars and the Estée Lauder double wear camouflage covers that shit up at the first layer, it’s fantastic. Now I’m a bit tanned so I tried buying Fenty and I actually love it, but I have to put concealer on my acne scars to cover them. Really curious to try Huda! PS I have to say Fenty gives me an incredibly natural look.

I agree. I don't wear foundation so I am not a good judge of all the details. However, both finished looks look pretty close. When she just had the foundation on, Fenty looked really blotchy, but that may have been because it hadn't set into the skin all the way?

Okay at 3:42 In Fenty still has my vote due to undertones. It matches your skin PERFECTLY. The Huda looks yellowish and can work when warmed up with Bronzer.

Both sides look really nice to me,I just really prefer the Fenty Beauty. The reason I prefer Fenty is because it does give that natural look and I am not a makeup connoisseur ,so when I put on makeup I still want it to be or how should I say this;I still want it to have a natural look and be appealing to me. I don't want to look like an Instagram model. I don't want to look like high fashion every single day.I want to put on my makeup and feel like I'm putting on a better natural part of me on and fancy gives me that.

HUDA FOR ME. Foundation is makeup.. at the end of the day, if I’m buying makeup, I might as well just look flawless. Fenty is not enough coverage. I’ll be using less of Huda & make it last longer & look amazing doing it ;)

Loved this style of video. The comparison of two foundation at once not only helps out everyday woman but us makeup artist ! I’ve viewed several videos on both foundations, and drew a conclusion that Fenty would be best for my oily skins clients and Huda can work best for normal to dry. Also looking at NARS radiant skin for normal to dry skin.

I just bought the huda beauty foundation and I loves it! It's stays all day and yes your so right once you have it on, it will like magically like set to your tone and looks pretty natural .
Is it me or Raye is so beautiful that (1) you couldn’t tell a difference when she first put it on because her skin is already smooth and (2) you couldn’t tell which foundation is which if it wasn’t for her telling us?! 😱😘😘😍
The only thing I notice after rewatching is that her skin tone changed more orangy/golden because of the foundation otherwise I wouldn’t know she had on makeup of it wasn’t for the blush! ❤️🔥

I actually really liked the Fenty side better then the Huda. It looks more natural and warm on your skin, the Huda had more yellow tone and again no imperfections but I loved them both you pull anything off so I knew they were both going to look great and I also do agree with you it's a tie between them because they both did what they were supposed to do. I personally think huda is better for my skin type ( I have oily skin ). Fenty looks nice the first couple of hours but at the end of the day it makes me greasy.

I bought the fenty beauty foundation a few weeks ago and when I put the foundation on my nose my nose just looks so dry and patchy 😭 although my nose isn't dry at all without makeup
You should try mixing an oil or serum with it
use a primer and a beauty blender to apply

If you're still having problems definitely exfoliate, and use a good moisturizer like aloe Vera or WetnWild's wet spray (it's like $5) before applying foundation.

I agree. It's so natural looking but still gives great coverage and still beautiful, overall finish, which I guess is, ultimately, the idea. The Huda I would probably purchase to use if I'm attending a wedding or a special occasions where more photos will likely be taken and will give that photo filtered look or just that extra glammed up look for the occasion. But I think Fenty gives that everyday flawless look without looking as though I'm trying to look perfect everyday. Absolutely nothing wrong with slight imperfections. Anyway, what a naturally stunning lady, regardless though! 😊

I got shade matched to 310 because it was the only one yellow enough for me but it's winter now and I'm not nearly that dark anymore. But all the lighter ones are too pink on me :(

I mentioned in the video that I did two layers to really see how full the coverage can get for people who have acne scars etc. I have to consider everyone in these kind of videos. Your skin might not need 2 but others do.

The issue with Huda is the strong fragrance, but she reformulated it recently so am excited to try that without the fragrance

Arjene Wernet you are absolutely right, every time I would see someone compare the two foundations I would get annoyed because they both serve two different purposes and are two totally different foundations. I love more of a natural look though although I rarely use foundation I would love for the foundation to look like my skin and if I wanted to add a dramatic look then I would up the ante with a bold gorgeous eyeshadow or lip. Just my opinion.

I wore a mixture of these foundations on Eid, and OMG it was the best 😍 my skin looked so radiant & glowy! Probably due to the huda one my foundation was full coverage but looked skin like and not cakey due to the fenty one.

Yeeeessss, what a great idea for comparison. Fenty is my fave, and I‘ve bought the wrong shade from Huda, it‘s too light for me so I use it for concealer to light up my under eye area, that‘s how pigmented Huda’s foundation is ;). And with Fenty everything just adopts to your own skin! Both foundations are really good.

When I wear fenty . Nobody knows I'm wearing foundation . They think I'm eating better so I love the fact that it looks natural, beauty , bit dewy yet hiding my imperfections. I also recommend u use only one pump for the most natural look. It's enough for me .
