Super helpful-- I use a Mac so this saves me a lot of headache. But event w Think Diffusion its still taking a while to generate-- 1:30:00 for a 600 frame video set at 720x1280. I'm thinking it could have something to do with the quality of the source image I uploaded, but does that sound normal? Any advice appreciated!
if the timer is moving at consistent pace, it's normal, you can try increasing the cadence

WHICH IS the best lora model to use this on female character?
Is there a completely free way to convert 4min video to modern looking animation, which doesn't require super computer and doesn't take too many hours of work (few hours is ok, but it shouldn't take like whole day)? Of course conversion takes hours and hours on a slow computer, but that shouldn't take days either, because this is our only computer:

What do you suggest? It doesn't need to be super polished and even 480p should be fine. I can try to upscale that to HD with Topaz. It should do.
without having a fast computer(you don't need a "super" one btw) your options are limited to paid services, unless you check one of the new apps that are popping out, but the quality of output isn't even close

High end pc I still cant get this shit working. so much ram and CPU and I always get stumped, been trying every tutorial for 2 months, I pay for google collab and have tried local installs, cant get it.
Same here. I tried doing stuff locally, it's problematic and very time consuming tbh even once you have it set up as you always want to add stuff like models and stuff. I tried ThinkDiffusion already and have no problems with it.

It's on my list, although I don't even have a mac device
Prefere runpod for can choice manu GPU as you want and for cheap, but good for others devices
that's a good option as well, the setup does takes a little longer as you need to go through few setups before you make it work, plus I don't think you can easily point to setting files and init images with that. I genuinely prefer using dedicated solutions.

to increase VRAM locally, you need to upgrade your GPU, which costs money as well, so depends on what works bets for your budget ;)

Exact same performance between desktop and mobile since the browser is just the user interface, all the GPU processing is done on the servers.

When I press generate, I get this error message: Error: 'Init image path or mask image path is not valid. Check your schedules/ init values please. Also make sure you don't have a backwards slash
I made sure that my photo was the correct size and that the slashes are forward. I tried removing the quotes in the beginning and end as well. Any tips? This has happened over multiple days now.
this is happening on THinkdiffusion ? did you upload the image to Thinkdiffusion first ?

Nope I don't think so, the site use their servers, GPUs etc
It works in the cloud, it doesn't use your smartphone to generate

I don’t get memory errors but my image generation speed takes a whooping 30 to 40 minutes everytime I’ve tried so many optimizations to increase generation speeds but none of it really does much
how much VRAM do u have ?
@@MDMZ just 4gb. I got generation speed to go a bit faster by deleting some checkpoints so now it takes about 20 minutes still a lot

@rodolfovaliati The counter is pre-set to 1 hour but you can change that. If you select the Fast machine $10 will give you 20 hours of usage., plus a further 10 hours with the $5 free credit we have added.

It looks like a skam. The website doesn't work well. I couldn't generate at least one image... 404 not found, when u turn off the session it still takes away the available trial time

I'm genuinely curious to know what makes this look like a scam to you. You can try it yourself using the 30 mins trial and see if it works!
The 3060(and i think u meant RTX) is definitely a good option, still lower and slower than the minimum that thinkdiffusion has to offer, if you're planning to use SD long term and run it excessively, so be it, a local machine makes sense, that's the option i went with too.
But keep in mind that not everyone can afford a 16gb or 24gb machine, others are also casual users and would just use SD from time to time, paying by the hour would save them so much money, some people create exclusively on smartphones, I encourage you to look at things from other people's perspectives, not just yours!
