I'm doing my qualification dives at sodwana in two days. I can't wait, especially after watching this video!
This is one of the most awesome dive vids!
That Potato Bass is still there, and still very tame. Saw him/her on hotspot in June/July
No No touching was learned at one of the starting diving courses, apparently not in SA
Fabulous video work !
I'm going to start my training soon, and going to get my qualifications at Sodwana
have not seen a pod that size in a long time
I love this video, on which reef was this video taken? I was at Sodwana in September but saw nothing that's on this video :) So I have to go back :)
Excellent video. What is that big spotted fish?
+Leon Homan I think its a Bass of some sort. Potato bass or brindle bass.
Thanks, that's a starting point. I've only been snorkeling for about three months so my fish identifying skills are still lacking to say the least.
Yip, did a quick google on potato bass and you're 100% correct. Thanks once again for an excellent vid.
Potato basses like to be petted. Like dogs.
red anemone on ribbon :)
