Netarhat is known for its sunrises and sunsets. It is located within forests which have varied flora and fauna.
Netarhat, District ; Latehar. Jharkhand, India
160 kms away from State capital Ranchi.
Nearest Airport : Ranchi.
Nearest Regular Train Railway Station : Ranchi
It is a plateau covered with thick forest. Located in the Pat region of Chota Nagpur Plateau, Netarhat plateau is about 4 miles (6.4 km) long and 2.5 miles (4.0 km) broad. It consists of crystalline rocks and has a summit capped with sandstone trap or laterite. Region of Netarhat is covered with Pine and Pear trees who are planted by Forest Department and forests mostly have Sal, Kendu, Mahua and Eucalyptus. The highest point is 3,696 feet (1,127 m).
We have covered the Journey of Netarhat from Ranchi by bike. We got the beautiful view of jungle, mountain & clouds, as we have covered this journey in the 1st week of October where the rainy season was about to end.
In our way we have crossed Koyal river and after that 22 kms valley to reach Netarhat.
We have found Forest Guest House in Netarhat very attractive which is very well maintained by the Government, Forest Guest house is need to book from Lohardaga.
We stayed in beautiful Tent and done camping in netarhat. Because of rainfall we have missed the sunset in Netarhat. But the in the morning we have found the best thing in Netarhat - Sunrise in Netarhat from behind the clouds and mountains.
We have visited koyel view point which is also a best point to see sunrise.
Went to upper Ghaghri fall but missed Lower Ghaghri fall.
Mousammi Garden is also very popular in Netarhat.
To cover Netarhat tour we need 2 days. Do not miss the Sunset and Sunrise of Netarhat.
Netarhat hotel price is reasonable.
Best Experience in Netarhat ka scene:-
Roads and direction points are very well mapped.
Climate of Netarhat is prefect to relax.
Never seen a beautiful sunrise ever before, best thing is sunrise.
Challenges Faced in Netarhat :-
Only a single ATM which was not even working.
Shop keepers refused to take online Payment.
Every things are very costly in Netarhat.

2022 July Update - shop owners do take mobile payments, petrol pump accepts Card/cash. Things were of almost same price. It's a lovely place to visit, but prefer monsoon if you want to have naspati. I will be uploading vlog, bus time mil jae editing k lie Also ladke ne acha video banaya hai, especially the music used, feel aa gaya bhai, aur nostalia ho gaya great video👍

Better to book hotels after going to netarhat, you will get a good deal in off seasons ₹1000- 2000 per day.

@@kaushalkumar6840 aap forest guest house online try krna, booking cost 800-1000, tent house around 2000. For fooding, you will get veg food less than Rs. 100 (veg thaali/ roti - sabji). Chicket purchase kr k banwa sakte ho (cooking cost around 200). Other food option - maggi, samosa, bread omlet

Videography was amazing. also the views... still I craved to see a little more. Should have been a little longer as content was good. It ended so quickly.

This tent will cost you 1600-2000 (as per the demand and season). Where 2-3 persons can stay.
Normally within 1400 - 2500 you will get a nice hotel.
