I have a bkdk theory for why bakugo was a d!ck to izuku. So when they were kids bakugo made a promise to himself that he would protect him with whatever quirk he had (this could lead to why bakugo wanted to be number one so bad. To protect his best friend) but when izuku turned out to be quirkless he figured out that it would be harder to keep him safe if he wanted to be a hero. And so bakugo bullied Izuku to try and get him to go a different route. But because izuku was persistent on being a hero bakugo got madder and madder and hurt izuku both physically and mentally (he probably thought that that was the only solution left for him to do). And now that izuku is more powerful than him he's worried that izuku wouldn't need him any more.
tbh im mostly surprised that theyre all like "bakugou wtf why would you say that back then", when he says the same thing daily- (this is towards the animatic reaction by the way )
Bakugous quirk makes him sweat nitroglycerin like liquid and nitroglycerin can stop a humans heartbeat which means he always has to have strong emotions and maybe it’s easier for him to be angry than other strong emotions, and we learn in the manga that our quirks affect our personality so bakugous personality is explosive. And yes Bakugou may have done really bad thing in the past but he changed, and hating on him for something he Did in the past and isn’t proud of is just…mean ig. he’s a kid, he’s learning and to learn we all make mistakes. I identify so much with Bakugou cause I did very stupid things when I was younger but I changed…I learned, I have seen many people saying bakugou deserves to die, pls don’t give the haters reasons to say that. We all deserve a second chance to make things right if that’s what we want to do…..
@@stealthybat9776 Yeah uh the nitroglycerin thing is a myth. Stop spreading misinformation, tolerance can be formed with nitroglycerin- meaning nitroglycerin wouldn’t have an effect on Bakugou anymore. I love Bakugou but he needs to come to terms with his mistakes.
