Mel C is always the most fun to watch.

Victoria sounds good live, she has a deep voice with a nice tone, not powerful but she sings right
dude, mel c goes off at the end i literally LIVE for it!
VB with all respect to some current singers, sings very well and has an incredible stage presence, she is very wronged as a singer, and many today do not even insist on singing live ✌️

Somebody needs to tell Victoria not to downplay her singing abilities. She is not a power vocalist but that doesn't make you less of a singer

I think this is the best preformed version of this song. Their vocals were quite strong during this era of the Spice Girls.

Geri's departure had also some positive consequences, one is they could sing acapella more and do beautiful harmonies. Melanie C's ad-libs in the end are everything in this live performance.
I agree,Victoria always a bad rep for being the worst vocally but In my eyes Geri was inferior as a vocalist to Victoria...I dont even know if Geri could harmonize haha
+iKETOURAGE Geri was in a certain way the real soul of the group... wild and crazy girl who enjoyed singing and having fun... Even she wasn't vocally perfect, she transmitted enthusiasm to the whole group...as a matter of fact the group easily disbanded after geri's departure ...

+iKETOURAGE Geri often tended to reach the limit with her explosive behavior and perhaps girls once didn't like her actions and thought she would want to run the group .
A little jealousy (+ the famous and never confirmed relation with Mel B) mixed with geri's bulimia caused her leaving ...
Personally I love Ger, apart from her songs.. expansive, yes a little bizzare but that's how she is !
She always brought vivacity during concerts to the other 4... that would count a lot for me if I were in a band!
Look at this concert ... they seems so static in some songs and they lack of enthusiasm !

Her explosive behavior only bothered Mel B, not the other 3. I remember that Geri's nude pictures got her completely mad, in one of their documentaries it was revealed that Mel even called Geri names. She evidently had some issues with both Geri and Mel C. Mel C because she was easily the most talented and deemed by people and media as the only talented out of the group, not to mention that when Mel C went solo with both Bryan Adams and her first album, she had more success then all of them. As for Geri, she used to get attention with her attitude or costumes much more than Mel B. I'm quite sure all of this bothered Mel B. At the other hand Emma and Victoria were not "competition" to her, one was very compliant (Emma) and the other a bit absent (Victoria). Coincidentally she never had issues with either of them. Although I agree that Geri was a spicy, hot and freaky personality I completely disagree about her "vivacity" in the concerts. She was extremely clumsy and sometimes very lazy during their performances and concerts. The two biggest "entertaining animals" on stage were Mel C and Mel B. Also, I don't see what you see regarding this concert, they were completely wild and crazy in this show.

Mel B's body is sick
Although Mel C is the best vocal in band, it was very hard for her to sing Geri's verse
That verse was very low, not be suitable for Mel C
Tho I love Geri.. but man, I always said they sound better without her.. lol.. it's the truth.. I love my spice girls..
