This is brilliant! You should really consider OOT editing - with additional expansion pack support you could overhaul the OOT hub worlds with platforming and sidequests while still leaving the main game alone and in tact, the more vibrant colour is more in tune with beta Zelda also. Would love to see these enhanced hubs and more detailed areas brought into OOT! It would make such a difference to the main game.
Dude I’ve been watching all of these videos and I have to say that you’re an incredible fan/artist for doing this. Your creation is holding onto that same magic that we loved as kids and it really shows dude...I wish I could play this. I feel like I have! lol. The music alone is just excellent. Original tunes we all know with that Banjo Kazooie twist.

Damn, it's very impressive just how much of Death Mountain you managed to fit in this 'level', as well as how well it's been converted for the Banjo-Kazooie engine. I mean, you've got the main trail area, Dodongo's Cavern, Goron City... plus a fair few areas I can't recognise that may well have been inspired by other games entirely. Surprised it all fit in a single area like this to be honest. Kudos for all the cameos and easter eggs too. All these characters from other Nintendo games showing up in the background are pretty cool, as are all the video game boxes scattered throughout each area. So yeah, congrats on the level. Looks fantastic, and captures the feeling of the original Ocarina of Time area perfectly.

Just cleared this level and it was absolutely fantastic. Very welcome change of atmosphere and level design after the two town-themed levels in a row (Hyrule Castle and Kakariko). It really feels like the game is just getting serious, kinda like in OoT actually. The Metroid area easter egg was also such a nice addition. Using those spider-tracks for the ant was a super creative idea. I'm only watching this because I missed the 5 notes and jiggy @6:00 for some reason and didn't want to search the whole level again, as it is HUGE like a Tooie level. Looking forward to the next levels. I just arrived at the amusement park, everyone's favorite in BT, looks very appealing. ;) 10/10, really the best BK hack I've ever seen. Great work
I was so surprised when I found the Metroid area. The non Zelda cameos were a bit off putting at first since I wasn't expecting them. I thought it was going to just be Zelda stuff. But I came around and soon started wondering who else could show up. And there's something really cosy about their little setups playing games at little desks. Also cheers on uploading the soundtrack, this hack really went above and beyond in the music department. If I didn't know any better I would have thought these remixes came from Grant Kirkhope himself. Seems there was yet another easter egg I missed in the music, I had no idea that Never gonna Give You Up changes to Robo's theme! I love that kind of stuff. EDIT: Oh yeah, and by the way, it may be difficult to see but my avatar is an homage to this hack. Hyrule Castle and the Triforce are in the background... though they're hard to see even in full size.

In Forest temple, how am I supposed to know how to get thru retro character doors like donkey Kong, Mario, link, etc. How do I learn the correct order?
I was wondering if the secret area was inspired by Star Fox Adventures or Jet Force Gemini; however, a certain bounty hunter told me everything I needed to know. I have to say that the Goron City remix is really catchy! Adding an army ant feel to the track turns it into a real ear worm! By the way, wasn't Saria's Song a part of this track, too? You know, I was hoping it was possible to reach the top of Death Mountain in that hack, so I'm a little disappointed by that.
Yes, there is a little part of Saria's song in this track. About the top of the mountain, I had to remove it because the game crased all the time. I lost 2/3 dayr trying to make it working, but unfortunately remove it was the only solution
@@Kurko_Games Aw, rats! I would what could have caused the error. Was it an invalid placement of Banjo? I'm not sure how true this is, but I'd imagine that having a character stray so far out of bounds could crash the game. I'm thinking that the top of Death Mountain was a bit too high for the game to handle.

I wouldn't be so sure that it's not..... (As in, if the Fire Temple does show up in the playthrough, it'll be much later. After the Forest Temple, most likely.)
I tried to put the top of the Death Mountain, but the game crashed all the time. After several days of testing I had to remove it for it to work. Then I thought that I could have put an entrance from Goron City, but I think the level is already quite large with Dodongo Cavern, and I preferred to use that extra space for other areas
@@corybunkle If you're talking about to leave the level, no. Anysay there are some Gold feathers hidden behind the lava waterfall, in the venus fly traps room
@@Kurko_Games I used all of those up trying to cross. I almost made it over but I fell down at the last minute and now I can't find any additional gold feathers. :(
@@corybunkle don't remember at 100% where are all the extra gold feathers, but you can check the video. In cade you got all of them the only way to get more is leavibg the level... 😣
That hidden Metroid room was pretty much impossible for me to find. I collected the red feather Brentilda talks about (I suppose that was the hint for that) before I even got the hint and it doesn't respawn unless you leave death mountain. I love the mod overall but things like this are where you could improve your game design. :)

Gobi the camel should be here in Death Mountain, but it's the only complaint about this mod I have so far. This mod makes a perfect sequel.

You have a clue on the architecture of the entire temple. Correct order is based on the year of release of every original game
