Ball Lift Spirals For Rolling Ball Sculptures.

This video demonstrates the creation of wire spirals for use in Rolling Ball Sculptures. Using the method explained here, it is possible to produce spirals with different pitches and diameters using equipment found in any workshop or garage.

Mannnn, I did one of these for a pachinko lifter and had to solder like 400+ support braces to inner race. I then used 3 smaller rods to hold the outer spiral that required another 400+ solder joints to finish her up. Had to use a MAP gas torch for the center because I used a general hollow copper plumbing tube about 3ft long. I had made a see through track much like another guy had but I had a lot of snagging areas. I think I'll use those same drill rods in a new attempt. (: P whew!

An overhead view would have been a much better viewing angle. Still not sure what's happening...
