Hi . Thanks for the review, however I would advise people NOT to purchase this 12 or 24v unit. Under real testing my friend and I found the following issues. 1. The USB output was NOT in spec for 5v to charge a phone to the point that anything demanding 5v will NOT run. 2. The ground lug is NOT connected to anything! The inside of the case is painted and therefore you get ZERO ground connection. The temperature cut off is at 45C vs 60C for better units. Why is the temperature important? Well, take the case of using this in an RV or garage you will find out very quickly that the unit will only run about five minutes before it shuts down. In a cool room (17c) and a 525 watt load using a 400AH battery the unit ran for 45 minutes before going into a fault condition. Ironically, the manual says that the fans will come on and remain on......mine never came on and I removed the fans and tested them as good. The temp sensor is a snap type with grease on it and basically stuck on the heat sink. After seeing the issues and the inside of the unit (which is laid out ok, but very difficult to service due to serface mounting with robots) I removed it from service in my home. However, one improvement I made was to remove one of the original cooling fans, leaving the right ran in place and hard wired it to a good 12v source with Anderson power poles. This means two things now, the unit is continually being cooled on the LEFT side as you took at the unit from the front which is where the temp sensor is located but I should have never had to do this. Please give your unit a try with a 500 watt or higher load and you are sure to run into the above issues. For the same $$ I would be a TECHON or Reliable but be for warned that only the TECHON is ETL certified so my $$ goes to TECHON
