    Congrats man 🎉 I ‘m studying for SNCF 300-710, your videos are so inspiring and motivating

    Congrats. The part on the Pearson test proctors being very inconsistent is so true. One person had me remove a trash can UNDER my desk. The next person said literally nothing....and I was squinting and mumbling because I was down to the wire on the exam. Certainly a much better experience than driving 45mins-1hour for an exam environment.

      Thanks. My work/study ethic may be inspiring from the outside looking in, but if you look closer, you'll see I get stuff done in spurts. I might argue that slow, steady progress is probably more productive than the short "sprints" that I tend to do.

    Congrats! 🎉
    I can relate with the Pearson proctors being over the top. I was reading a long question so leaned forward and rested my chin on my upright arm on the desk. They IMMEDIATELY popped up and stated if I didn't remove my hand from my face right away my exam would be terminated.
    I was so conscious of my movement I ended up with such horrible neck ache for days afterwards. Passed the exam though lol.
    It does feel like they *have* to find an issue each time just to justify their existence. By making your environment better/more compliant each time you're probably making it worse as they'll nit pick further and further 😂

      Ha! Same thing for me! Got yelled at for resting my chin in my hand. I also got yelled at for mumbling to myself one time.

    The camera, external device stuff is the reason I prefer a testing center. They want you to use a laptop yet you have to spin around the laptop camera to show everything it's so awkward. Everything external is so much better. I even had issues using my 32 inch screen because there was a glare and they couldn't see my eyes smh

    Congratulations! I have a few questions for you.
    1. Do you read documentation from start to finish or do you read selected topics?
    2. Do you have a dedicated reading/study time or do you push reading in when you have down time?

    Congratulations dude! I hope you’re considering creating a video about how earning your CCIE certification has impacted your career and financial success 🤑.

      @jeremiahwolfe  8 місяців тому +1

      Maybe. I'm not a good representation though. I got my CCIE because I had a 10 year gap in my IT career. The goal was to convince someone to give me a chance even though I left networking in 2013, not to boost an existing career.

    @jeremiahwolfe I am already working in the VPN space with Cisco, is it worth getting the CCNP Security you think or not worth the time?

    • @jeremiahwolfe
      @jeremiahwolfe  6 місяців тому

      It's worth it if your employer wants you to get it.
      It's worth it if the job(s) you are applying for list it as something they want.

    i found it too much a hassle to test from home. I passed the ceh a few years back via proctor-u. it look me longer to go thru the login process than it did to complete the test. never again. congratulations on the svpn.
