This is my favorite episode of BATB. It is amazing how we sometimes don't realize the power that music has to add to our enjoyment. The scene where Catherine tries to describe her feelings for Vincent has always been a moving one for me. By adding the music of "Catherine's Lullaby" you have increased the emotional impact dramatically!
The last scene in this clip is lovely: the pullback shot of C & V in that forever embrace, coupled with the crescendo of the main theme at the end makes this the best moment of the entire series.
The acting here is fantastic from both. Catherine with the doctor is amazing 👏 she's such a talented actress. The chemistry between them is beautiful 😍
That ending gets me every time! Chills and knots in my stomach, even though I know what's coming. Videoam1ture is right, that first piece is Catherine's Lullaby. To me, that piece just sounds like home. My mom used to sing me to sleep with it, before I knew what it was. "Sleep, my little one Rest now my pretty one Close your eyes The day is nearly done Rest your head Tomorrow will surely come." Just a piece of childhood!
Very nice. I think the track you used while she is in dr's office is actually called "Catherine's Lullabye" It's from the Ashes, Ashes episode. She sings the lullabye to a sick child and tells Vincent it is a lullabye her mother used to sing to her, which is actually very appropriate for this episode about the loss of her mother.
Thanks for the correction! I've update the annotation accordingly! The thematic relevance of the track is coincidental :) I thought the tone of the track fit well. Thanks so much for posting!
It gets to me too! :) This has got to be my favorite episode for sure - thanks for the confirmation of the track title - I've updated the annotation :) Did you mom make up the words to fit the song? If so, she's brillant! :) Thanks so much for posting!

She didn't actually. Those are the words sung in the episode, "Ashes Ashes". My mom just memorized them.
Hey, what's with the tapping noise? You've ruined it!!
yes 😣 why is this awful noise in the video ?? 😥
anyone know what music is playing in the backgroud?
the video was nice except to the annoying noise
Comparing this to the new pieces of crap on CW, this is better.
