They specialized in airborne assault operations, air assault operations, airfield seizures, seizure and destruction of strategic facilities, direct action, special reconnaissance, personnel recovery and others. The 75th Ranger Regiment has the highest op temp and raids as well as most HVTs killed or captured. They are America's premier raid force. Even JSOC use them for raids as well.
