- Archers are incredibly impactful in Rise of Kingdoms in KvK 2, KvK 3, and Season of Conquest. Like in Call of Dragons, Age of Empires, and other Real Time Strategy titles, new upgrades are crucial for late game and high powered play. F2P, Low Spender, and Mid Spender should all have good access to the optimal and best builds.

archers were my second investment and I'm still in pain
My biggest problem with archers is March speed. At least the wheel commanders lack March speed I don’t do mighty governor, so I have been relegated to wheel commanders. They always lag behind all my marches, even infantry at least the wheel commanders for infantry have some speed. So at least in my opinion archers are only good for close in fighting. If you got a March they will fall behind. If you’re running they’ll get melted. If you’re chasing they’ll be the last one to hit I’m going to cavs lol. Good video. Thanks.

I am debating right now cause i really like YSG circular AOE, but i think i should have more cav marchers... I could go with 1 inf, 1 arch, and 3 cavs or 1 inf, 2 archers, and 2 cavs. The thing is: i could max Liu Che, and max one of the new Archers to pair with YSG. In that way i would have:
Boudica 5551, ZL maxed (currently using)
New Archer maxed, YSG maxed
Scipio maxed, Liu Che maxed(bench Guan, who is giving me the worsts reports)
Nev maxed, Joan maxed. (currently using)
Or i could wait the next cavs and do:
Boudica 5551, ZL maxed (currently using)
Guan, Scipio (currently using)
Nev maxed, Joan maxed. (currently using)
New Cavs or Huo New cav
And i think Scipio/YSG is not a good option right now. This march miss a lot fo stats i think, i use it but i felt like my Guan Scipio was doing better than the pure damage of Scipio YSG.
Overall, for my account, i think i should mobilize my YSG with the new archers(assuming they will be good with them) cause he is too good to be benched, and BENCH THE GUAN OMG HE IS GIVING ME HARD TIMES. But still, cav marchers are too op in the open field. You get where you need to be faster, you have more chances to chase and drop skill on the target and then run away...
Makes me happy to see someone as strong as u pairing LC with Alex.
Not the greatest AoE potential but I do like it.
I'm playing as f2p and expert my Alex by SoC so was so very happy to find a pairing for him in LC considering the current meta.
Ps. Have u considered making LC primary to Alex because of his 4th skill? So that when LC procs he procs with the 40% atk boost, rather than a 30% defense boost when he is secondary?

SACRILEGE!!! (But true :D ). I've loved playing archers as F2p....but they're so squishy early game. I feel like I'm playing catch-up with every infantry player!
honestly I'd argue aethel ysg is a pretty decent investment as aethel is so f2p friendly and ysg is practically a must, however you have to be ready to be able to heal a hefty amount and have a good investment on the equipment for pretty good results. It's what I did and what got me the best results in early kvks as a mid (now high) spender
In kvk3 is it only one wheel per troop type before moving on to the next ? So you only get 1 cav wheel 1 inf wheel and 1 archer wheel during kvk3
Disagree bro my budika zhuge is tanky as well as getting more KP in muder ball as compare to other marches
My friend did 2B KP in first 3 kvk with his archer team. Great player. Low spender

@@realjohnlove I just fought against Chisgule in 3v1 KVK. Everyone ran two Inf 3 cav one leadership and one archer. I ran three Inf because I am Inf main. But it’s pretty equal. Not over saturated

I started with archers focus thinking i will kill a lot of infantry but you don't get any good archer commanders until Ramses and Artemisia and they both disappaer of your lineup fast so they are bad investments. Play archers if you are a whale with unlimited $$

I disagree I have 1 meta pair of each troop type and boduica zl by far gets me the most kills.
Super interesting, this is almost a unique experience ngl I have heard barely anyone share that

@@12inchpvpness lol want to see screenshots ? ZL has circular aoe I assume that’s why he gets the most kills. All 3 armies have full gold sets as well expect my Nevsky has 2 crits.

Clearly sound like a archer hater. Mines super slap. Zlhuge is top commander in rok. Also giving incorrect March pair. Nev joan is the way. . Qb will as 2nd pair. Also infantry is slowest. Ysg is outdated. Boudica zhuge nebu zhuge nebu
This is for f2p players, not late game meta. Nobody is investing in William after transitioning to SOC
Mina isn't f2p. Which you also suggest in your pairs. Zhuge 5511 is better then max ysg. Can run 5511 boudica 5511 zhuge. Or 5511 zhuge 5511 nebu . Will is also 5511 or 5551 at best. Top 2 comms for starting in soc are zhuge and Scipio. I would even say Liu che as 3rd depending if running 2inf before nev. Aoe is best . Otherwise you start zhuge Scipio nev. Top 3 comms.
I am f2p and used ysg as a secondary to artemisia for a long time and then changed to ZL/artemisia now, have always had good results
You probably got bullied by archers no way people has so much hate towards archers for no reason.
My archer journey so far:
kvk 1 : Kusunoki + ysg -> 100M Kp gained
kvk 2 - Thutmose 5511 + ysg -> 250M Kp gained
kvk 3: yes i agree this one sucks because wheel came at end of kvk xD
Kvk4: Boudica + ZL -> 300M kp gained
currently waiting for next kvk and hermann prime.
