Brilliant ! I never thought that your true self is brought forth and surfaces with illness ! Spot on Father. And I’m including myself in this ! God Bless us all and have mercy ❤️
Thank Fr, thought provoking for sure. Suffering seems to be how we get close to God . Illness is definitely part of this but suffering seems to present us with the chance to be Godly in our mortal lives. How we deal with suffering is where Gods light can shine in the most pure way .
Thank you Father for this topic. As a man stricken with a chronic pain affliction some 20 plus years ago I have benefited from God’s permissive will in the arena of chronic pain. I love God more, my faith continues to grow, my prayers seem more useful, and I actually have joy in affliction. I hate pain and wish I could get more relief, yet I am blessed in the suffering.
Your older videos are still popping up on my feed and I’m so thankful for it, but I really do hope you get your show back up off the ground again in any form from any place. You are a treasure!
Thank you Fr Brendan and Immaculata Productions for another great video. My issue with spirituality and illness, is that while engendering acceptance in suffering, one runs the risk of stoic passivity which can deepen the misery.
As a guy who tends to have a problem worrying about things that might be I like that phrase, the imagination a swaggering bully. Thank you Father for your wise words. God bless
To experience suffering is to taste our vulnerability & nothingness & yet sometimes to be plunged into the heart of Our Saviour who showed us the Way by His life , passion & death. As Mother Angelica used to say don't waste your suffering , it as tremendous value in the Devine economy og God & power not just to save us when united to the cross but all off mankind. I have heard it described as a gift. Our culture is opposed it & even ourselves at times Lord help me to give my Fiat. Phil: 4:13 I can do all things in Christ who gives me strength
I learnt today that a customer of had just been diagnosed with cancer. Despite my gratuitous displays of catholicism, today was the first time she spoke of her religious beliefs.

This man thinks he's a tough guy. A smart guy. A De Niro character. Thrown out a few cliched quotes. I'm still a faithful Catholic but no thanks to Priests like this.
You dont have to agree but to glibly and gratuitously seek to cause offence discredits you. I dont recall Jesus, who you claim to follow, teaching us that your words are the way.
It's about coming from the heart and I believe Father Brendan is. He has a sense of humor which may not be appreciated by all, but that's not the point. He makes some good points. God bless 💞
None of us can reject any priest, they are another Christ. Fr Brendan's style may not sit easily with you, but maybe God is challenging you to get beyond that and really hear what's being said.

Thank you Father, I needed to hear your message today. God Bless you and your ministry.
Thank you Fr. Kilcoyne. Thought-provoking as always. God bless you.

“Our Lord’s, the sick”. Extraordinary and beautiful !! Thank you, Father.
Thank you, Father, for your insights , instructions, and humor.

God bless you Father. We would be in a better place if more teacher's over the past 50 years had communicated the faith this way.
Well said. Agree. It certainly brings us closer to Christ.
Such a shame really thst the Priests have stopped visiting the sick once a month. It means soo much to the elderly. 😢

You seem to have a few clichés yourself. I have not agreed with a lot of Fr Brendan's stuff, but I don't need to insult him.
Wish we had more good priests like him.
