Peter Tomarken was an amazing guy. He was a fantastic game show host. He was well known for hosting Press Your Luck. He even made a surprise appearance on Whammy The All New Press Your Luck. I loved the different suits and ties he used to wear. I also remember when he used to wear sweaters with his tuxedos. He will be surely missed by people who loved him. Rest In Peace Peter Tomarken.
It's also interesting to note the European trips - Rome and Paris in particular - that would come down off their current much higher values. Paris, here, is over 3000, but would be down to $2518 (a famously-specific value later on!), and also involves a connecting flight at London at this stage - which I don't believe was the case later on. Same for Rome, which was won at the beginning of this week, was over 4000, and had a connecting flight to Frankfurt - it later goes down to 3000-something and doesn't have the connector.
4:01 Gary, technically, probably should have been asked to specify "taste them", since both Eat Them and Drink Them would be shown as answers, with taste counting as Eat, but you're tasting something whether you're eating or drinking it. Surprised there wasn't a resulting confusion along the lines of possibly Melinda or Rich would have to be brought back over that question. (Well, Melinda gets it right anyway, while Rich doesn't.)

7:10 ,Rich broke the same buzzer that Troy did a few episodes ago.
A broken "schmageggy", as it were. (What is this, Rugrats?)
I think Peter meant a broken buzzer.
7:10 This is one of the reasons why the buzzers were redesigned.

Gary look like Brent Spiner.
