I can't wait to go. I was born in KC and I've been back a couple times but I've never been to Worlds of Fun. I love coasters with big drops (as opposed to loops XP), so this is right up my alley.
I rode this for the first time today and was totally freaked out- when I was done I loved it, then went on the Patriot and came back to this. Its really intimidating your first ride!
I have ridden the Mamba hundreds of times. As season pass holders, we literally went to the park just to ride this a couple times and go home. My best memory EVER was riding it on the 4th of July. We timed it PERFECTLY so that the fireworks started going off just as we topped the 1st hill. Gives me chills even thinking about it! HIGHLY recommend! ❤
Lol. Just rode this today, like a billion times in the front seat every time. I love putting my hands up the whole time! It closed at like 1:00am. Favorite ride. I was there a I'll day!
This was my first big coaster and I still love it to death! I will ride it multiple times every year. I was eight the first time and I will never forget it! This was the ride that made me fall in love with thrill rides. The Mamba will always have a special place in my heart!
Same for me I was about 8 :). I remember I was there with my middle school choir for a choir competition held by WoF and the boys in are choir kept saying that girls are to girly to ride the Mamba. They were so wrong most of us rode it like 6 times that day XD
this was one of my first coasters and i loved everything but the first drop. the drop was too steep for me but i loved the ground hugging turns!! i rode it again after we got back to the station since there was no lines.
My first steel coaster! The ride was brand new when I first went to worlds of fun (The express was still up at that time.) And a few years later when I returned (After riding my first big wooden coaster "outlaw" at adventureland) I ended up riding this. And believe it or not this was the last BIG coaster BEFORE 2013 that I rode. In 2013 I ended up riding 3 after getting into the small coasters and the drop towers. (Because drop towers have a much harder feeling drop but are more compact.) The drop towers always made my hands tingle but none of the small coasters quite gave me that... When I rode a big one in 2013 I had forgotten how rad they are and that same tingly hand thing I got from the drop towers REALLY showed itself on the coaster.
i live an hour away and been to worlds of fun many times my family goes there twice a year sence i was 3 so ive been 14 times but ive only gone on the mamba once but ill definly go on it again im going to wof with my figure skating group and me and my couch rideing the front seat i cant wait!!! go on it!!! it will be ur new fav ride i am 99% sure of it!!
Best Coaster I've ever been on! The park I go to in my home state only has 1 steel coaster that lasts for about 20 seconds:\ and 2 wooden ones that gift you with whiplash upon riding. So I consider this coaster luxury, it's drops just give you total airtime! Its also very smooth and fast at the same time, so fast it just triggers my brain to produce teardrops rolling down my eyes on those turns!
I just rode Mamba yesterday. Great ride. The huge turn got me. As far a which Morgan coaster is best. In my opinion, I think the Steel Eel at Sea World in San Antonio is better. Even though Steel Eel has a smaller drop and shorter track, it has a steeper drop and I felt more air time on it than I did on Mamba.
@ASecretSomone1 These are similar because they are run by the same company, Cedar Fair. Yes these coasters are similar, but what is the chance you will visit both parks in your lifetime? They are in completely different parts of the U.S. Six Flags takes the exact same coaster, with the exact same name (Batman) and puts it in almost all of their parks. Finally, Prowler is very different from Thunderhawk. Thunderhawk is slower and meanders through it's course, while Prowler has many sharp turns.
i was the best mower they had back in 1991..lol...work at night..get drunk in parkin lot and go back in a ride all mornig..and admire my work from the coasters..:->
This ride is scary ass hell. 216 feet of terror. But it is so so fun!:D Back seat is the best because you get pulled over the top of the hill so fast!:)
Though Phantom's Revenge was originally Arrow, and parts of the layout are identical to when it was an Arrow looper, it seems like most of the airtime is concentrated in the modified parts. However, I've never been on it.
I'm going tomorrow. This is on a video and it feels like I'm on the ride, I'm excited but at the same time I know I'm gonna scream like a little girl. Lol
How do the older Morgan hypers compare to the newer B&Ms Cedar Fair has installed at their parks lately in the form of Behemoth, Diamondback & Intimidator?
So I live near worlds of fun and so we go once every summer (because it's expensive and we don't have passes) but if you're going or planning on it this is my favorite ride there and I still haven't rode the steak hawk but I'm planning on it this year. We're buying fast passes🙈😍
+Always Ariana The Mamba is terrifying, and has given me a mild coaster phobia. Don't go on the "new" Steelhawk. It was in Knott's Berry Farm with the name WindSeeker, and got relocated due to too many malfunctions. If you want to go on awesome rides, go on the Timberwolf, Prowler, and Patriot. P.S. Steak hawk? Should taste delicious. (-_-)>'
did u know the original plans for the Mamba called for it to be over 400ft tall with like a laser show at night and a ac building when ur standing in line??? I went to this park almost yearly before I moved to Houston.... Did u ever ride the most violent ride at WOF??? The Oriental???
wow, I've just realized how similar this ride is to Steel Dragon 2000 in Japan, the only difference is that SD2000 was built to be earthquake proof and it put Morgan out of business (well forced theme to merge with Chance).
I've rode it so I could probably tell you. It depends on what type of person you are. It has 2 hills, one 205 ft high and the other 184 ft high and it goes 75 MPH. I rode it twice so it wasn't that bad for me but if you don't like heights, don't ride it.
my favorite morgan coaster is a tie. the first would be wild thing. the first airtime hill is one of the best ive ever expierienced. the other would be the santa monica west coaster JUST BECAUSE it is one of the few coasters my and my younger (5, 7, and 8 year old) cousins AND me can ride, mostly because they are not into big coasters yet. id like to point out that morgan hasnt built a coaster, hyper or otherwise, for 10 years. (last one was superman at six flags mexico)
When I was 6 years old, I went to go ride my first roller coaster, and I chose the mamba bad idea. I balled the entire time. I never been on a roller coaster since, it's been 7 years now......
Hey, you should go on one! Don't hide under a rock, go out into the breeze and feel the air! I believe in you! You'll feel glad you did it, and probably want to go again!
the scariest part is going upp. it takes forever, and thats what scares me the most. im already having like a heart attack before we reach the top. but its sooooo much funnnn.
The back seat gives the best ride on this coaster. As the front of the coaster clears the top of a peak and begins to accelerate downwards the back seat is still coming over the top. You get accelerated over the top and it makes you feel more negative G's over each peak. I prefer the back seat on pretty much any coaster.
when you go down the third hill and there are all those pipes, did you ever have the feeling one of them would just hit right in the head cause i sure did.
The Prowler is the only ride really with comfort seats, as they are padded and feel absolutely wonderful. Everything else is hard shelled and not comfortable, especially if you bounce or go airborne even a little.
i found it smooth as butter tbh, no where near as bad as the scream machine at six flags over GA, that one destroyed my back still havnt recovered haha
mamba and steel force are very similar but they have a few differences. mamba has an angle of 66 degrees steel force has 61 degrees. mamba has 3.5 Gs steel force has 3.4 everything else about them is the same.
easily phantoms revenge. i have been on all of these and can tell you that phantoms revenge has far more significant airtime then any other morgan hyper
This is a great ride! The Patriot is good too but it replaced my favorite roller coaster ever, The Orient Express! I miss that ride. I don't like the Timberwolf or Prowler. They shake you around too much. They hurt my neck and give me a headache. The Mamba is nice and smooth!
+Steve H. The Patriot didn't replace the OE. Nor the Spinning Dragons, they merely went around the OE's plot of land. Nothing went on the OE's land. If you want to see history, go behind Spinning Dragons. You'll see the old station.
I can't wait to go. I was born in KC and I've been back a couple times but I've never been to Worlds of Fun. I love coasters with big drops (as opposed to loops XP), so this is right up my alley.

THE MAMBA IS SUCH A SICK RIDE! I LOVED IT!
I have been on this exact one, it is the most amazing ride of my life, along with the patriot
Lol. Just rode this today, like a billion times in the front seat every time. I love putting my hands up the whole time! It closed at like 1:00am. Favorite ride. I was there a I'll day!
*all* not I'll
Hey Coasterforce...i am a great fan of your videos. Was just wondering if the parks ever give you guys exclusive ride time?
I rode this for the first time yesterday LOVED IT!!!
The suprising thing is that it is the same height as Stealth at Thorpe Park.
This was my first big coaster and I still love it to death! I will ride it multiple times every year. I was eight the first time and I will never forget it! This was the ride that made me fall in love with thrill rides. The Mamba will always have a special place in my heart!

Aww that's a sweet memory to have! ^_^
other than dragon challange in florida, me too!!! also my favorite evre!
ikr! this ride is so amazing i love it so much and whenever i go up the hill i always close my eyes :D
me too dis wus my first 1 n I wus 8 too
this was one of my first coasters and i loved everything but the first drop. the drop was too steep for me but i loved the ground hugging turns!! i rode it again after we got back to the station since there was no lines.

When I got to the top, I told my dad I didn't want to go.😂 it was really fun though.
Rode this a couple days ago, much more intense in real life and so much fun.
Best Coaster I've ever been on! The park I go to in my home state only has 1 steel coaster that lasts for about 20 seconds:\ and 2 wooden ones that gift you with whiplash upon riding. So I consider this coaster luxury,

What park?

Sit up right, hold on tight, 'cause the mamba's about to strike!! * pat pat * tssss🐍
How do the older Morgan hypers compare to the newer B&Ms Cedar Fair has installed at their parks lately in the form of Behemoth, Diamondback & Intimidator?
I love this ride I think its my favorite but, that first drop tho I'm flying in the seat. But I still L💖VE WOF and the Mamba
i love telling people the prowler isnt suppose to shake
u need a camera with a wind breaker thing on it, i got it and took it parasailing it worked fantastic!! no wind sound
@SilentNightWolf22 How old are you? I've ridden this twice, it is a pretty cool ride and really, the only bad part is the first two drops.
So I live near worlds of fun and so we go once every summer (because it's expensive and we don't have passes) but if you're going or planning on it this is my favorite ride there and I still haven't rode the steak hawk but I'm planning on it this year. We're buying fast passes🙈😍
We have passed. And I go every week

What do you think of the coasters at WOF compared to other parks you have visited
I'm going to ride this when my family goes to worlds of fun in a couple of weeks I'm so excited
arrow and morgan have the best chain lift sounds!
Ive been on this ride so many times. But my favorite is the timberwolf. I like wooden roller coaster way more
I was there a few years ago but was to short to ride any of the thrill rides
That coaster was intense when I rode it. :P
when did you film this? i dont remember the scales on the front of the train, did they put something else there?
The ride looks like a copy of Maginum XL, except the bunny hills are quite slow (all morgan hypers are like this)
man i live in kanas city and i was on the mamba and the scariest thing is hearing the little clicks when its about to drop
was this ride shorter at a point because i don"t remember going out towards the highway?
Coasterforce, would you say Steel Force or Mamba is better? Or would you say they are both are about the same?
1:50 Explosion?
thats just them turning the sound back up, they turned it down when it dropped because wind is loud
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom you only went on this and steel force as far as morgan hypercoasters, you should go on wild thang at valley fair
hey coasterforce, do you like this or Wild Thing better? I've been on both and it's a pretty close call for me.
I only been on one Morgan coaster and that was steel eel in San Antonio
did u know the original plans for the Mamba called for it to be over 400ft tall with like a laser show at night and a ac building when ur standing in line??? I went to this park almost yearly before I moved to Houston.... Did u ever ride the most violent ride at WOF??? The Oriental???
I'm going there in two days . how long do you normally have to wait to get on a ride?
didn't Cedar Fair purchase the park from a private operator a few years back?
My cousins a firefighter, for training they have to climb to the top of this roller coaster and back down! Would you do it?
do you get permission to film rides? Because all the parks i've been to have said you can't.
hey eastcoastergeneral! do you like worlds of fun or valleyfair! better?
wow, I've just realized how similar this ride is to Steel Dragon 2000 in Japan, the only difference is that SD2000 was built to be earthquake proof and it put Morgan out of business (well forced theme to merge with Chance).
how did you get to record on the rides because when i went there they wouldnt let me record
I've rode it so I could probably tell you. It depends on what type of person you are. It has 2 hills, one 205 ft high and the other 184 ft high and it goes 75 MPH. I rode it twice so it wasn't that bad for me but if you don't like heights, don't ride it.

Coaster Force, is this a scary ride in General?
looks fun state is this in
This was the first rollercoaster I ever rode. I was 6 at the time.
First one to ride it yesterday :) I was there for our band
@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom Do you know of any plans to break the 500ft. mark? Or at least beat Kingda Ka?
I went to Worlds of Fun for Halloween Haunt and it was freakin' scary!! I rode all of the roller coasters except Timber Wolf.
I was 7 the first time rode this its the most fun coaster!
You'll feel glad you did it, and probably want to go again!
went on this yesterday my favorite ride imo (patriot was good too but i liked this one better)
the scariest part is going upp. it takes forever, and thats what scares me the most. im already having like a heart attack before we reach the top. but its sooooo much funnnn.

i rode it twice it is awesome and y is there no one screaming in this vid??
i cant wait to go there next week!!!
Okay so I live close to there and get a pass there and I have one question HOW THE HECK DO YOU HOLD ON TO A PHONE OR VIDEO CAMERA?!?'
I've been on it twice! It feels like your hair was burned off after the ride is over
Lol 3 days ago it was not working and it rained I was sad :( but then I rode it the next day :D so awesome!
when you go down the third hill and there are all those pipes, did you ever have the feeling one of them would just hit right in the head cause i sure did.
@rockerapple13 yea i know they're both morgan but still lol. i wouldnt be able to tell 510 from 580
Coasterforce, how is the airtime on this?
somebody please answer me is this ride scary idk if I want to ride it or not.
exactly, what is the highest drop on this ride?
Nice video and fun to watch. Take care now.
BEEN ON THIS RIDE. IT IS INSANE!!!!!
Zach Miller I screamed louder than I've ever screamed before but I'm only 12
I'm only 9
you should really get a chest harness instead , (keeps the shaking down as long as your a wider build) and not record audio.
i am going to worlds of fun tomorrow and me and my friends are all going to ride that!!!
I think the most underrated Morgan hyper coaster is steel eel at sea world San Antonio
This is an enjoyable ride, but I did find it a bit rough. Am I alone on this?
Right after you drop, it's kind of rough, but compared to other rides it's pretty smootb
The Prowler is the only ride really with comfort seats, as they are padded and feel absolutely wonderful. Everything else is hard shelled and not comfortable, especially if you bounce or go airborne even a little.
i found it smooth as butter tbh, no where near as bad as the scream machine at six flags over GA, that one destroyed my back still havnt recovered haha
so what came first Steel Force or this?
It's probably closed to the public. So it's just him filming the roller coaster.
I go to worlds of fun every year it's so fun!!!
I go every week lol.
@TeenageHumour it did the same thing when i went on it im pretty sure its just the end of the brakes.
is this a hyper coaster?
I love this rollercoaster.
going next week!! :D so pumped
At what part do they the pic of you???
wild thing. it has the longest air time section of any roller coaster in the world
What about SteelDragon its 306 ft drop.
mamba and steel force are very similar but they have a few differences. mamba has an angle of 66 degrees steel force has 61 degrees. mamba has 3.5 Gs steel force has 3.4 everything else about them is the same.
Going to WOF this weekend... Best rides?
Beguine Beauchamp This and Prowler but if you like your coasters to be rough Timber wolf.
Beguine Beauchamp - In my humble opinion, this is a great coaster. The Patriot is the best one in the park, though.
Kung Fu Bastard I hate inverted rides which is odd seeing as I can stand Timber wolf.
Beguine Beauchamp get on detanator mamba and timberwolf
That coaster is awesome
Omfg I LOVE the mamba. I always sit front seat with hands in the air when I'm fourteen.!! Haha it and the patriot are the best damn rides there.!!
easily phantoms revenge. i have been on all of these and can tell you that phantoms revenge has far more significant airtime then any other morgan hyper
It was sooooo intense on that last drop!!
This has a striking resemblance to Steel Force at Dorney Park.
This is a great ride! The Patriot is good too but it replaced my favorite roller coaster ever, The Orient Express! I miss that ride.
I don't like the Timberwolf or Prowler. They shake you around too much. They hurt my neck and give me a headache. The Mamba is nice and smooth!
+Steve H. I saw the Orient Express when I was 5. Too short to ride, but my bro and dad went on its last ride.
+Steve H. The Patriot didn't replace the OE. Nor the Spinning Dragons, they merely went around the OE's plot of land. Nothing went on the OE's land. If you want to see history, go behind Spinning Dragons. You'll see the old station.
the prowler gave me a headache so bad that i was going to ride this but i told my sister and cousin to go without me
+Steve H. Most of the space of the Orient Express is still unused. The station is still there even. You can see it from the top of the Ferris Wheel.
Steve H. prowler is the best coaster in the park next to patriot
this was my very first rollercoaster
