This time is such precious flash in your life.Doesnt last long enough for sure so you soak him up and bond the other kids will be fine. They are busy doing what kids do, kisses let them know you're there. Prayers to your beautiful family! How blessed you all are, grandparents included in that. Poor baby! Hang in there guys! I had to take my daughter back to the hospital for dangerously high jaundice levels and it was the hardest and scariest thing I’ve ever dealt with. I really feel for you guys. I hope he gets better soon ❤️

FYI...if you put Asher in the window on a very sunny day with his clothes off, the light from the sun will break down the bilirubin faster. The more skin exposed to the sun, the better. I did that with my daughter, as I was determined that she would not have to go back into the hospital, as her levels were very high/borderline to go under hospital lights. It worked!!!

make sure the windows do not have UV coating or tinting-- it is the UV from the sun that breaks down bilirubin

Hoping asher gets better soon. My oldest had jaundice and we did just bright sunlight and it helped. Love watching your family. Such an inspiration. Ps: I love the piano playing since I have bee. Playing for over 30 years and now teach other military children.

I drank loads of raspberry leaf tea last months of pregnancy, I think it clears out the liver and makes jaundice less possible. My 2nd baby didn't have any jaundice. The secret is to put the baby in sun. I put my first baby next to a window and kept it in the sun as much as possible, the jaundice clears up fast.
