New Dacia Jogger with Thule Wingbar

A long load requires a long vehicle. Dacia Jogger is a 7-seater vehicle with narrow original roof bars like Fiat 500. How to install Thule roof bars on Dacia Jogger with maximum width? Something we need to do at home.

I left the Dacia roof bars to preserve the design. I wanted to install the Thule roof rack so high because I carry canoes on the roof, and if the roof racks are too low, it is easy to damage the roof.

Did you put something around the hole you have made to avoid water stagnation under the cover?

@LUusemaa very nicely done! is there any reason why you couldn’t remove the Dacia roof bars and use the holes and screws from them to locate a Thule Wingbar? Looking for an option that doesn’t involve the skills you clearly have!

Is this a solid system (using the original roof bars across the roof) to put a roofbox on it, or do you need to buy a separate set of roofracks for it to be solid and safe?

So the roof bars turn into roof rails dont they. Why do you need to buy more roof rails?

Factory roof bars are narrow. Original mount is narrow. When you are lot of kayaks and lot of Thule bars J carriers then Original ones not mach with them.
