আয়াতুল কুরসি হচ্ছে মুসলমানদের ধর্মীয়গ্রন্থ কোরআনের দ্বিতীয় সুরা আল বাকারার ২৫৫তম আয়াত। এটি কোরআনের সবচেয়ে প্রসিদ্ধ আয়াত এবং ইসলামি বিশ্বে ব্যাপকভাবে পঠিত ও মুখস্থ করা হয়। ইসলামি পণ্ডিতগণ একে কুরআনের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ আয়াত বলে দাবি করে থাকেন। এতে সমগ্র মহাবিশ্বের উপর আল্লাহর জোরালো ক্ষমতা ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। মুসলমানগণ বিশ্বাস করেন যে, এটি পাঠ করলে অসংখ্য পুণ্য লাভ হয়। এছাড়া, দুষ্ট আত্মাকে দূর করতেও এই আয়াতটি ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Rasool Allah peace be upon him said, "Whoever recites Aayatul Kursi after every Fard (Fard Salat). Only death is keeping him/her from entering Jannah. (As soon as he/she dies, will enter Jannah)

It's in another Hadis that Reciting Ayatul Kursi after one Fard (Fard Salat) will stay in Allah's protection until the next Salat.
(Tibrani Fil Kabeer, A'n Alhasan Bin Ali Radiallah Anhu)
Imam Bihaqi States that the one who recites Ayatul Kursi before falling asleep, Allah Tala gives protection to his/her home and his/her Family.

Ya’lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum,
wa la yuhituna bi shai’im-min ‘ilmihi illa bima sha’a
Wasi’a kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard,
wa la ya’uduhu hifdhuhuma
Wa Huwal ‘Aliyul-Adheem
