"Away from this conversation"
Ok but that Indian guy is now my favourite person 1 minute into this show
Wow .thanks
@@suryakantbhaskar WAIT UR HIM SO FREAKING WAY
😂😂😂
Narrator: but. To the dismay of his family.. He. Is Still.Single.
That poor Korean man, I feel so bad for him. He needs to cut the credit cards up. He should tell his grown bloody kids they have to earn their own money, he’s not giving them one cent more. Lastly, he should give his wife a budget. He should tell them the financial situation they’re in, so they understand the gravity of it.
Niraj is such a smart guy, I hope he moves out and sets boundaries with his family. Poor guy.
The Korean family needs to have full disclosure of their financial situation. It's the only way they can all know what's going on. Next thing is to live on cash purchases only, no more credit, until they have their debt under control.
HAHAHA this is more dramatic and funnier than the Kardashians. I love the family of that Indian guy, from the moment he wakes up to bed time :')
I have just watched the "Don't call us poor" series and really enjoyed it!! And now I've started on this show, I enjoy learning about the different culture from country to country and I find your channel to be really interesting!!
31:51 The amount of family debt the Korean dad is referring to is not $72,000, but close to $400,000. Subtitle translation is wrong...
I was wondering about that. 72 k usd for a middle class Korean family should be manageable.
That korean wife is out of her mind spending 1000$ usd on a dieting machine and workout gear when he husband is the sole breadwinner?!?! EARNING ONLY 2000$ a MONTH?!?!?! omfg. I feel ill just watching this unfold.
And she has the gall to pout!😡
They already have exercise equipment. She just needs to use it.
it's quite low salary in Korea. maybe his position isn't stable as an insurance sales person. it must be really tough to survive in korea where everything is expensive. i bet his salary is going higher as he has more clients. good luck
This is such an excellent series! As with many other CNA insider videos!
That Korean wife needs to get a job! So ungrateful! I feel bad for her husband n those kids are grown they both need full time jobs
I just love this Chanel!! They tend to open a whole new world like a book!! I really feel for the Indian gentleman. He is very patient. His circumstance would have been my worse nightmare!! What a burden!!
Thanks for the support! Keep a look out for more seasons of The Family Affair where we introduce more families. And Season 4 will be debuting on our website later this month!
OMG! That Korean mom is really really childish! I admire her husband's calm...
Some housewives are like that, never think for their husbands' hardearned money
If I were the husband, I'd directly scolded and wooped her with the papers.
@@okflyaway99 violent is not the right way lah. Just tell her the debt you are in, then she will wake up to her financial senses n sting everything for you.
She is so young.😀
pretty interesting series! I LOVE IT! can't wait the next episode!
It was quite disturbing to watch the way the wife responded to her husband when he was telling her about her unecessary spending. It was so child like and immature. Quite disturbing considering she is 50 yrs old.
Thank you for this....searched for this first season of Family Affairs on your website but found out there were no longer available. ❤ CNA documentaries & enjoyed S2. Watching from South Africa.
Thanks for the support! Do keep a look out for the other seasons which we'd be uploading soon. And Season 4 will be debuting on our website later this month!
People need to start being honest with their partners, like all three married couples have husbands who make executive decisions or hide their financial situation from their spouses. it is as if by keeping quiet the problems will solve themselves.
Watching beijing family make me realised that property going up roar is because we speculate it..
Developer and the rich taking advantage on it.. Selling higher by time.
Rich became richer..
Don't blame the rich, blame the government policies when it comes to real estate.
Poor Niraj, every body ask him to get married but no one introduce him to anyone
The indian dad is hilarious man
But on a separate note, pressuring the son like that can cause this guy to really get stressed out and affect his mental health
Why koreans quarrel also sound so cute. Like watching cartoons quarrel
It’s often the ones who don’t make money spend money senselessly.
I remember that CNA insider already has a documentary regarding Korean debt issues. So this is like the real deal.
bruh the korean women is taking the husbands effort for granted
The problem is that the Korean man doesn’t sit down with his family and lays down how the financial situation really is. He should work out a plan with his wife and sons how at least the sons can get into employment quickly and how the wife can cut the spending and splurge on non-financial things. She seems extremely unfulfilled and many people fill their voids with shopping.
28:06 Anyone notice that Norah just flat out ran that red light with no attempt to stop at all. WOW
So far so good. These are families with real problems ( issues) that I can relate to . We need more shows like this.
People need to start realising that they don't just go into a business with no prior experience nor extra finances, and dream for it to work, or worse, hope to set up branches. It does NOT work out that way...!
You’re absolutely right on this.
Some people need to learn the hard way. Failing a business is the hard way 😅
I feel for Niraj. Stay strong, brother. Take your time to reach your decision. As Bon Jovi sang with so much gusto, it’s your life.
The worst is the korean family, it’s so sad for the father. if they want to act Iike the way do at least they should be shamed and feel embarrassed. The wife should honestly work part time. Like where is her shame, she doesn’t need to take care of the kids, maybe some housework. Thus part time is reasonable especially for her family’s situation. She even had the audacity to bitch about buying the expensive machine when he was so nice to only say it’s better if she told him, he didn’t even say she can’t buy it or sell it. Not that women has not right to spent the families money but if her actions are going to take a toll on the whole family she should have discussed. If she doesn’t want him to say anything then get a job and make your family be in a better financial position where you buying luxury items doesn’t starve the whole family. She’s so selfish, especially her words “Jinni bought it too”, like are you a 5 year old? If you don’t want to be scolded like a child then act like a adult and be responsible.the father should totally budget for the whole family and give her a set allowance. This is why the wife’s sister is rich, cause she’s not unreliable and childlike when she’s a adult. You think the better off husband will tolerate your stupid ass?
one of the greatest Series of all UA-cam channels. i have been watching most of the series 최고 👍
from Korea
35:10 “You were born in the Zoo”😂😂😂
subtitles for all, even the Singaporean family please!
Kenny Tan they were speaking Singlish lol
The korean wife is like a teenager x'D
Excellent series!
Tht indian guy niraj is married since 2017..saw it on facebook..n they r rich
Lol can u imagine opening a conversation at breakfast: your friends so many of them have gotten married😂😂. My first words would be: dear gawd not this again 😂why can't people just mind their business.
My sis is 26 years year old and we are yet to find a suitable groom for her. I think 27 year for a boy to get married is too early atleast in South India.
i feel so bad for niraj lmao
They wanted the poor kid to get married at 16?? Loll
Niraj needs to tell his parents he likes men...
The Korean dad and wife relationship is like Father and Teenage daughter. And father scolding the daughter for overspending his money.
Philippines and India has somewhat similarities when it comes finding a partner ,marriage, dating ,So pressure .Since They live together with ma,pa,uncle ,and grandparents .. hahaha
There's too much wit in that Sharan boy 😅😂
Ma bro in Korea worked half a month for his wife's foot massager. Oh my days bro
the korean father saddens me. but then again, why did he give credit cards to his wife and kids?
23 and currently unemployed! Me hiding my face as iam STILL unemployed at 28
My wife is Asian. The main problem is Asian men let their wives stay at home. If your kids are in school all day. Their is no need to stay at home. You can both split things 50/50. Been married 20 years and have 7 year old kids. I see so many housewives refuse to get a job or look for one after the kids are in school. I have a lady friend who is a Korean housewife her kids are 12 and up. Her husband makes 740k year. She is rich but very lonely. This housewife has no say in the matter of the sale of their apartment. She does not make the money. When you both work. You don’t run into problems.
I cannot tell you how wrong you are... You think just because both work, both will have equal say? Maybe to you, but not to many men. Also, Asian men *let* their wives? You must be kidding me... A grown man and woman cannot discuss and come to a decision together? Must one *let* the other do something? Idk if it’s your language, or your mindset, either way I find it questionable. Lastly, most of them have financial difficulties not because the wife doesn’t work, but because the financial situation is not KNOWN to the family. Take for instance, the Korean mother and sons don’t know what kind of debt their family is in, thus they continue to spend money mindlessly. The father should inform his family and take it from there. The Singaporean family as well, father in debt because of his business venture, and didn’t think to tell his wife. Lack of communication...
that singaporean man needs help, I feel sad for him, why doesn't he search for a person with experience so he can learn and improve
Yeah im probably going to visit his cafe, maybe to support his business a little
@@waffleo8035 this was a year ago, CNA did a follow up, he closed the cafe but opened a new one and it was successful. But covid hit so he closed that temporarily, and did delivery services. Idk anything else
@@siewkitlee4191 well i hope the family is doing alright now
My parents almost bought a house this year thank god they didnt or we would be in a situation with no money
What type of dog is at 2:53?
I got a question for the Korean wife. Why doesn't she have a job?
3:49 signs of an affair😱
The korean wife needs to get it together and stop acting like a child!!! She has no financial sense whatsoever. How can u spend more than half your family’s income on a dumb machine? Her age shouldnt be he justification to why she can buy things just as she likes. She ought to get scolded because she doesn’t earn a single cent and yet spends like she earns big bucks??? The son too! ‘It’s not that i want to ask for money. It just happens’ what kind of lousy excuse is that?? Dont spend beyond your means and learn to save money!
Honestly, NOBODY has a CLUE as to why this Indian guy doesn't want to get married? NOBODY! REALLY? I mean, I am just watching on the internet and I have an IDEA.
🤣🤣🤣
Did the indian guy beat the red light? Lol
that company was rushing too fast for that sell and the husband almost fell for it
The China husband is such a good dad.
Never ever compare yr spouse with other person spouse.
Niraj needs to find his own place to live.
Yàh, he is too comfortable in this house and not ready to shoulder the responsibility of being someone's husband and father yet
give him space and time, he knows what he wants at age 27, stop pushing him to get married
how the entire household income of Usd 2000 consider middle income?
Because in different countries, there are different criteria to be qualified as middle income
That should be considered low income in Singapore
THE KOREAN FAMILY ...Why buy expensive house when its over one budget..N can't spend on good foods n things.....iRent out out the First floor to others .one can pay all their expenes n mortgages .As for The teens..they can work Part timer
For The CHINA family: .IT'S ENOUGH..DON'T GO FOR EXPENSIVE OR LUXURY APARTMENT.just vos5 The property price Whether they can Afford to pay for mortgages.. And they will Staying tight now. THEIR HOME NEED RENOVATION..
ETC
I don’t get how the South Korean couple can only make 2000 dollars a month and bought a 130000 dollar house. I make more then that in two weeks. How can anyone live on that amount of money your mortgage plus water and electricity food etc etc. plus any thing that comes up as far as doing stuff in the house. Last year I had to get a new water heater 1600 dollars this year new garbage disposal 500 thank god I had money in bank to pay for it. Plus why is buying stupid shit. Maybe the wife should get a job it’s not like kids are babies. Plus she’s skinny no diet needed walk it’s free.
no child policy for those below poverty and one child policy for those below median income.
And tbh the indian grandchild could be gay. Hence he is not looking for a girl
Or he is in a relationship and is afraid to inform family
Or just got cheated on or got dumped
Don't jump into decisions just like that.
The 27 year old bachelor might not like women.
Waliao why the sg guy liddat one
Thought Beijing is very polluted. Does not look too bad.
Only really bad during winter months
Media just makes the air there look much worse than it is... My relative lived in Shanghai and he said that its utter rubbish how pple always claim that air at Shanghai and Beijing are bad when it isnt
The environment in Beijing is not that bad, just few days during winter season recent years actually.
@@crystal8537 huh!? It is bat shit crazy polluted .. 1 hr out in beijing got myself eyes infection due to DUST!
Oh my gosh that korean family, face palm the wife!
Property agents are like that, very unscrupulous
1:34 They're loaded. Who lives in a HOUSE (and like that) in Korea? It's in Gyeonggi-do but technically not Seoul.
4:03 Say what now ajushi?
its probably an investment. My family lives in a pretty nice house we bought through Years of savings but we're below middle class.
Its me korean family...sometimes i bought the things unuseful.....
The coffee cart is still open if you want to open the Singaporean family’s cafe.
Nice how nobody in Niraj’s family has found out he might be gay. Which is totally fine and normal - just not in that culture. I hope he has found his happiness, be it alone, with a wife or a husband …
Where's the family from North Korea,,,
Ha ha ha. I belief north korean family are living less stressful life due to no foreign media exposure. 😀
'I tell you next year' (most singaporean answer)-non singaporeans
"why can't people mind their own business."
Any contact from singapore family ??? I WANT TO HELP ! ! !
thecoffeecart.sg is his website
@@kichaa13 no wonder no one comes to his Cafe.... His business is a mobile Cafe concept where carts selling coffee are deployed to their clients' place...! Maybe his business ain't that bad after all

Married married..
India mental
in sg unless u king can't stay home
wow I pity the Korean husband... he brings home USD$2K only and the wife purchase things worth $1k++? like I get that she wants to splurge a bit - maybe like $50-100 of budget still ok but >50% of her husband's income? damn. why they still together. ,lol.
Very interesting but for the Singaporean family, I barely understood anything. Singaporean English is too hard to understand. Subtitles please.
Is this channel a Singaporean channel? Please don't get offended, but Singaporean English is really hard to understand for non-Singaporeans.
Subtitles please. We also want to understand their situation. Very interesting series. Looking forward to the next episode.
Thank you.
where are you from? can u understand Indian accent?
U dont understand flat accent singaporean english but u understand heavy accent indian english??? And whats the point of saying no offense when youve already offended Singaporeans on a Singapore channel
@@crystal8537 You always have to get accustomed to new accents. It also depends on with what kind of accent you are surrounded with. For example if you mainly hear American accents and you go to the UK. You can get unconsciously surprised by the accent and you have to remind yourself that you are in another country. The Singaporean accents also takes time to get accustomed to so there is no need to be offended.
@@kennytan5055 To be fair the indian segment subtitles most of the indians and the main unsubtitled indian guy speaks slower than the Singaporeans.
@@user-pg5re1cg7d well I mean the very first time I read her words "Singaporean English is hard to understand for non Singaporeans" it was very offensive as she gives off the feeling that she is nitpicking on the way we speak, stating Singaporean English. I mean its a SINGAPOREAN channel for goodness sake no need for subtitles. She could have just ask "Can u add subtitles". And the lady in the video alr spoke slowly.
I realised i really have difficulties in understanding india indian accent. in work, in this video, everywhere. OMG
You should probably get some help
Niraj! Move out!
Middle class girl is cute,,,,
The six shoemaker tentatively present because accordion atypically obtain into a tidy toy. stiff, shocking december
These shows were filmed pre-Covid it would be interesting to see how they are doing and the consequences of the decisions they’ve made financially since Covid …
Niraj's family needs to chill. He is only 27. Let him make the decision about when, where, and who (whom?) he marries.
He most likely will find someone when he is not looking. He could use a couple of years to work up his way in his job too.
They just making show..nothing else..I have never seen any family like this ..all the time only topic...
RICHA SAINI` welcome to suburban China, the situation is much worse.
That workout machine and foot massager for $1000 USD. It looks like crap probably costs less than $500
Korean man should take away the credit cards from his wife and sons. The twenty year old college student should use his part time job for his own personal expenses: meals out, transportation, clothes, etc.
