The MENSA test isn't designed for you to completely finish it in the time limit, it's designed to see how accurately you can answer the questions that you are able to answer.
I think the time limit is a factor on the overall number in the end though, so speed is important on the test.

@@flamingdoge6242 yeh essentially the normal distribution curve of the worlds population drops 100 as the median and the mean, however the mean iq of someone in USA is 98, and then somewhere like Japan the mean iq is 108 I think, but yeh when the total population is combined you end back to a mean of 100

Just to clarify, the 98 is only the US average. 100 is always the world average, iq technically changes measurements meaning a person could get 110 one year, then 10 years later get 115. It will always follow normal distribution, with a mean at 100.
No the world average is 99 as it was 100 in the 1960s when the scale was made but peoples intelligence downgraded as most of our wirk is done by machines now

Accurate IQ tests are done with a professional. It takes about 6 hours. The number of times you can tap your finger per min are some of the things they use to get your IQ

idk man, the only time i got something like that was when they had to give me some paperwork for dysgraphia, i think it took like 1 hour
I got one of theese and got 1something (119idk) on grammar, 139 on logic and 146 on maths

Online tests like these are very inaccurate though, this one for example only tests pattern recognition while real tests also include rapid addition, number patterns, memory, logic, in some countries grammar, etc.
Those iq tests are notoriously inaccurate.
I got a 70 on the HIV test, and my iQ test came back positive .

I forget which site it was, but I took an"iq test" online a couple years back and scored a 186.
Now I know darn well that's waay too high, so I took another one, and got a 155. Still too high, and it tested different things. I tried one more just for kicks and giggles and got a 122.
186 to 122 is abnormal for a range, so I quit after that since it was apparent I'd need an actual evaluation for accuracy.
Most people probably take a random test, and assume that it's 100% correct and roll with it.. If it says I score above a 105 then something is wrong with the test xD

I took one aswell and got 86 ( Sam said the average is 83 ) so I was really happy until the website actually said the average is 100 so now I’m pretty much upset with my score

I wouldn’t be too upset, since this Mensa iq test really measures how many answer you’ve got correct and how quickly you’ve answered all of them. Ive took this Mensa iq test and it turned out to be pretty difficult. But I did a get a high score which I’m not going to brag about but since it’s been a couple of months since you did it I’m sure you’ve gotten much wiser so you should try again and see how that goes.

I took an actual one last year. It took two hours and I was so tired after it. I did quite well but would’ve probably been better in my mother-tongue. Seeing all the comments saying they got 150 or something kinda makes me mad because there aren’t much people that have an iq that high + it was probably one of those quick online ones. Then they’re taking all the praise for doing a 15 minute test that isn’t even proven to be accurate.
