I wonder how many people got Rivals on Switch and became disappointed at the lack of classic workshop characters such as Ronald and Mario Pissing.

@@Cbuv tbh though, in roa unless you play even secondaries a lot you cant be anywhere near as good as them as your main, everyone just handles and works so differently which is different from how smash handles characters especially ulti

I really enjoyed this gameplay, there's something about the game that makes it more fun than smash. I think it's the style.
Probably the moveset design, every character is designed to take advantage of being in a platform fighter while smash basically just has every character throw out hitboxes due to the limitations of having to take from other game's movesets.

So I was mildly disappointed that there wasn't crossplay. Now I realize I was foolish and that Dan Fornace has blessed us.
Yknow something I don’t get is the people that say rivals now is just “le funny broken workshop” like most content creators show that but a lot of peeps still use base rivals a lot
(Granted I do wish content creators showed the cool workshop characters that are balanced)
The non balanced workshop characters are also so cool! In my opinion, they are not even cool because they are easy, but because of the insane plays and combos you can do. Also, Alpha does show balanced characters.

Yeah, there’s a lot of characters on the workshop that are themed around the aether universe and are balanced, yet I see very few in the “adam’s picks” section. Like, there should really be an entire section dedicated to that specific portion of the workshop

In all honesty, majority of the mod characters are some how more balanced than Etalus.

My favourite stage in rivals is the tutorial grid
Mainly because orby will insult your opponent if you taunt after a kill
You can like Ultimate more but you can't deny that Rivals mechanics and fighting elements and character are multiple times better then Ultimate
