Love all the cards and the coloring both the copic and the pencils. Mistakes - we all make them, I agree don't start again, easy to cover it up and no one will ever know.... Therese - I love all your cards....
I love your same but different series! These elves are super cute and I love seeing your pencil colouring tips. I like the one which is disappearing off the card. Thank you!
Very excited for the christmascard series and these cards are awesome. i could watch you color all day it’s so relaxing and I learn a lot. Now I want those elve stamps they are adorable. Thanks for all you do and share.
Very cute cards. I really like the one where you only colored the baubles and lights. It was something different and I would never have thought to do that. I'm looking forward to your Christmas series.
Always enjoy your videos! Gimmie five series is one of my favorites. You don't take anything too seriously. Your voice & sense of humor are so very welcoming. I think the baubles are beautifully colored. So sorry you got black ink on your image, but good to know there is almost always a solution. I call those "HAPPY ACCIDENTS". Thanks for sharing you talent & ideas!
So happy that you like these Maria, the elves really are so cute the cards make themselves and I didn't want to add too much more to them, but imagine a scene like Sandy Allnock would create.... maybe one day I will try lol.
These cards are adorable! I love to watch your coloring process and how you use stamps in different ways. Very inspirational! Now I just need to resist the urge to buy these cute elf stamps... so I can use up what I already have, haha.
You could easily change these card designs up with whatever stamps you have, they really are quite CAS. Thanks so much for your lovely visit here today!
They’re all so adorable. Making a booboo is a-o-k. I wouldn’t want to start all over again either. Love your coloring. Going to start making xmas cards toward the middle of Nov. 😊
These are so cute and beautifully created as always by you! So happy to see the Christmas 2019 series starting! I'm in the midst of Christmas card making and need all the tips and inspiration I can get!
There is still heaps more to come, every year I plan to start the series earlier (and this year I did) but life kind of gets in the way lol. Crossed fingers next year I will be better.
I always enjoy your Christmas Card Series, Therese! Your cards are absolutely adorable! Thanks so much for always sharing such great tips with us...especially when it comes to Copics and pencils...they can be so tricky! By the way, I really like how you used your RV markers...such a pretty pink :)
Hooray for Christmas!! I think the shading and highlights on the ornaments looks great. I gasped out loud at your ink smudge. Did you hear me? All the cards are beautiful. Looking forward to your series this year. Hugs!!
All five cards are so adorable!😍 Don't be so harsh on yourself, the baubles are gorgeous. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Creative hugs from the Netherlands. 🤗😘
We are our own worst critics, it's just sometimes there is a picture in my head... and trying to get it onto paper is a whole nother thing lol. I felt much better by the end of colouring these cards, so thank you x
Just as magical as they can be! LOve each and every one... have my sights set on that Beaming... but this last one just makes me smile all over my face!! =] xx
I was finally getting the hang of colouring those baubles by the end, seriously have to work on the Copic versions lol. I hope you do find a Beaming in your Chrissy Stocking, I would love to see your take! Hugs Therese x
Oh my, how I love these cards. These elves are so dang cute! And as always, your coloring is amazing. Thanks again for your inspiration. Your videos are always a wonderful way to start my day.
Love these little elves. The colouring is amazing. I really must try to use my pencils more. Copics are my favourites as they give such great results, so they tend to be my “go to”, but the pencils give a lovely finish too! Thank you for showing the different options with the pencils. It’s always great to pick up the very useful tips you give. Look forward to the next Christmas episode! ❤️
Because there is so much going on within each image there’s no need for any additional adornment on the card, it would be a distraction. Perfect as they are. ❤️
Absolutely adorable!!! I can't see anything wrong with your colouring, it's brilliant, as usual, don't be so hard on yourself. I actually just finished making my Christmas cards yesterday (Sunday 20th October) way too early for me!!!! A necessity rather than fun (did I tell you that hubby and I are going to be away for 5 weeks!?) although, like you, I started to enjoy it the more I made. Have a good Monday xx
It's so wonderful that you managed to get them finished, that means you can relax and enjoy your holiday (was it a cruise? and a birthday or two) Hugs Therese
They're all so adorable the way you coloured them Therese! I really love that elf all tangled in the lights, he's so cute! and great tip about the lost highlight being saved by your eraser, i'll be using that one in the future!
Hey Therese, I just have to say that I have such respect for you as a colourist! These images are just too darn cute! Quick QUESTION: is there a reason why you sometimes hold the pencil towards the top end (opposite of the pointed tip)? Does it force you to apply colour with less pressure? Thanks for the education, Therese...it is much appreciated!
I've not really thought about it, but that seems like a good rationale, sometimes I use VERY light pressure though it's hard to tell on video (and especially at speed). I will try to take note in the future. Hugs x
Go darker! It's the hardest thing to do (especially after spending ages colouring) but it's the only thing that I felt really changed up my images. Hugs Therese
I started my Christmas cards today too, and I was just telling my friend that my fave UA-cam card designer is Lost in Paper. I wonder when Terese was going to start her Five Card same but different series. Well, the cheer has started.
hahaha, you must have been in my thoughts too, I think this is the earliest I have started this series and I always have such good intentions lol. thanks so much for your lovely words, you have made my day! Crafty hugs, Therese
Love all the cards and the coloring both the copic and the pencils. Mistakes - we all make them, I agree don't start again, easy to cover it up and no one will ever know.... Therese - I love all your cards....
Thank goodness no one knows (wink). I hate to waste and it is an opportunity after all lol.
Such happy little elves! I really love all of these cards. Your coloring is amazing and the elves make me smile.
I agree, they totally are the cutest and make me smile too!
Such charming cards.... love the elves. I avoid coloring circular shapes if at all possible. Stamping them with stars comes to mind. . .
Yes, circles are not fun to colour I totally agree!
These cards are adorable, love your color choices. Penny Black stamps are always so super cute and with those colors even cuter!!!
Thank you Ingrid, I think the bright colours were fun on these elves too!
I’ve never seen a pencil extender. Great tool!
They are fabulous!!
Such lovely coloring!! 💙💙💙💙💙 I wouldn’t be happy tangled up in the lights either. 😂
hahaha, untangled is better, but it always starts off bad lol. So happy you visited, Crafty hugs, Therese
Love these elves, adorable
I totally agree, they are adorbs!
I always look forward to your Christmas cards series.... so creative Therese xxx
Why thank you so very much!
I love your same but different series! These elves are super cute and I love seeing your pencil colouring tips. I like the one which is disappearing off the card. Thank you!
It's one of my fave thing to do on a CAS design, 1/2 and image makes some fun of it I think. Thanks for another lovely visit Sally!
I loved seeing the different designs and your use of both mediums. Super cute and pretty cards with those charming elves!
These elves are super cute I totally agree, and such fun to colour too! Thanks so much Stef!
Very excited for the christmascard series and these cards are awesome. i could watch you color all day it’s so relaxing and I learn a lot. Now I want those elve stamps they are adorable. Thanks for all you do and share.
They are super duper cute I agree, and I have more of my Christmas series coming up real soon!
The images are adorable but your cards are just fabulous. Thanks for the inspiration.
Why thank you Judith, I did have fun mixing and matching the sentiments and card designs.
Very cute cards. I really like the one where you only colored the baubles and lights. It was something different and I would never have thought to do that. I'm looking forward to your Christmas series.
Thank you Sheron, I liked that card too and could almost do a mass production of that design... except then it wouldn't be the same but different lol.
Your cards are wonderful with those stamps. I really enjoyed watching the two ways of creating them. Thanks.
Thanks so much Joyann, I was surprised how close the 2 mediums looked even though they were on different cardstock.
Adorable cards! I love Penny Black. The elves are so cute! I love this series and can't wait to see what you do next!
Thanks so much, I do have such fun with the PB images and critters, I'm glad to hear that you enjoy them too!

I agree, ink smudges are an opportunity, but when they first happen it doesn't feel like that lol.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these cards Therese!!! The stamps are so adorable!!!! Thanks so much for sharing your time and talent!!! Hugs!!!
So happy that you like these Maria, the elves really are so cute the cards make themselves and I didn't want to add too much more to them, but imagine a scene like Sandy Allnock would create.... maybe one day I will try lol.

I love color pencils on kraft card stock I just love the way they look... I feel as if I can’t screw it up vs whit card stock.
I agree, I think they are one of the easiest mediums to learn but they do take time, but if that's the price to pay lol.
Yay for the Same But Different series!!
hahaha, Why thank you Susan!
They’re all so adorable. Making a booboo is a-o-k. I wouldn’t want to start all over again either. Love your coloring. Going to start making xmas cards toward the middle of Nov. 😊
There is always ink going somewhere it shouldn't round here lol.

Pink is the hardest colour for sure, to me many of them have a purple undertone, but I've been learning to 'live with that' lol.
Gorgeous cards!
Thanks for sharing...
Thank you Jeanne, these elves are just too cute!
