These AI video generators are promising too much, but in practice they deliver bad quality video and inconsistencies. I subscribed to Runway and cancelled an hour after. Most of the promotional material comes from generic prompts and well trained sequences. But when you ask the model to do what you want, you start to have problems. Video quality of Meta AI is obviously excellent, but I don't know if can deliver something useful or it's just a toy. I'm using LTX and at least I could do something there. But Minimax in my opinion is still the best promise for filmmakers.
You’re slightly missing the point. It’s constantly improving and what meta is doing is next generation. It’s a brand new, infant level technology that will get better and better. That’s what this is about
