Yes, this is from the summer of 2000, just months before she died. I saw her and Mal around the same time at a different festival with Reggie Workman and Andrew Cyrille.

... lovely considering this is one of the last performances that Ms. Lee sang...
she has tremendous range but the big problem I find with her voice is it she tends to eat the microphone unlike people like Sarah Vaughan for which the microphone was merely an accessory to her voice. Different strokes etc.
