- Hello! Thank you so much for watching my Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed DLC highlight / condensed playthrough video. This was originally streamed on Twitch and has been edited exclusively just for UA-cam. This video consists of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of the game. We're playing as a young man named Matthew who is a survivor from the City and possessed the power of Ouroboros, accompanied by a mysterious character named A. We embark a journey in Aionios to search for the City survivors and Matthew's sister, Na'el, until we finally come across a Kevesi and Agnian soldier who are fighting against each other, Nikkol and Glimmer. Afterwards, we meet another familiar faces who will eventually join our party.

The events of Future Redeemed are divided into five chapters. The game serves as a prequel for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and is the fourth wave of the Expansion Pass.
Matthew is a great-grandson of the Noah and Mio who later became N and M. He spent his childhood in the City, living under the care of his grandfather, Ghondor. He and his sister, Na'el, lived happily in the City. Matthew inherited the Ouroboros Power from Ghondor, making him a skilled fighter. One day N attacked, killing Ghondor and destroying the City, which in turn set off a radiant explosion of Ouroboros power. Na'el went missing, as Matthew never saw her after the City's destruction. After being awoken by the mysterious A, Matthew sets off on a journey to find his sister, while searching for survivors from the City along the way.

Ah yes, will make sure to watch later since can't rite now but was looking forward to it. And while everyone goes on about this Chadosaurus Rex, which I wont deny is cool as fck, I still love the ol' Rex from XC2 most XDDD.
Completely unrelated side note: the other day when they announced they'de remake Mario RPG I felt like a kid all over again...I was HAPPY! I'm so excited , and it feels like a dream, I can hardly beleive it!!

@@Zaleos hahaha i'm torn! i love both versions of rex! baby rex with his salvager's codes and beefy uncle rex! and yes, i saw it! the remake looks very good! i have never played it but i heard that it's one of the most important games that i need to play before i die lmao.
So many people hating on Nikol's voice in other let's plays. But I like it. His voice gets more natural over time during the game as a the VA gets used to his role.

@@skyeifert's not even that his acting is bad, people just are just not used to his character archetype having that kind of voice. Joe Jameson, his English voice actor, once said that when he was in drama school, people would comment on his voice, saying it was too deep for his age. Also, Nikol is on his last term, making him physically 19. He just has a serious case of baby face.
Yeah! I thought it sounded kinda weird at first but as the game progresses I thought his voice fits him well
It was weird for me for like a minute and then it grew on me. It really takes you by surprise becaude Nikol looks so young, like Valdi who was on his 6th Term, but he's close to Homecoming like Glimmer so it made sense afterwards

Since Matthew is the great grandchild of mio he's also Rex's great great grandson. Future redeemed is just a big family reunion for Rex😂

Rex said "Let's show them a thing or three" as a battle quote in Xenoblade 2. His line was a reference to that quote 😊

"Let's show 'em a thing or three" is one of the battle quotes of Rex from Xenoblade 2. I just love his introduction in this DLC. Immediately we know this is the Rex we know, just older and more experienced. Also, great playthrough! It's so nice that you're not afraid of showing emotions or even crying (talking mainly about Xenoblade 2 and ending of 3). There is just something comforting and special about other people feeling the same way as I was playing the games. I don't know what it is, but these games just get to me.

peak fiction is back!!! im happy bcoz i also played xenoblade games this year for the first time and fr they changed my life, i personally think xeno1 is my favorite of all of them but damn , i cried, a lot, with all of them. This games make me feel something special

Hopefully not too late to the party but AHHHHH ITS TIME! Fam I absolutely LOVED This story. This DLC is now tied with Xenoblade 2 for my favorite story PERIOD. Also THAT REX REACTION: SAME AS ME!! I SCREAMED when he came onto the screen. Cheers!!

Also I know someone said that "this was before offseeing was made" but I'm not sure if someone answered your question of how a homecoming was before that and the answer is they would be beheaded and would stay in the cycle due to it since they never actually reached their end. We learn this through Ashera's ascension quest where she talks about how (like eunie) she remembers a death that happened to her in a previous life and it was so bad that her neck actually starts to have a scar on the back of it when she gets closer to her 10th term. So its wild how glimmer was so basically brainwashed by the cycle (like say lanz in base game) that she was willing to be beheaded for ultimately nothing
hey there! oh no nobody told me that! but it makes sense now since i think that there was this flashback scene in the main game when a kevesi soldier was about to be beheaded if i remember it correctly? thank you so much though for the info!
@@skyeifereah, thats correct. Moebius V tried to kill a kevesi soldier at the end of his 10th term, but he was stopped by Moebius M and Crys. Homecoming changed just because of M and Crys.

If you want to play another Monolithsoft game, Baten Kaitos I & II HD remaster will be released at 15/09/2023 on the Nintendo Switch
(the 2 originals games were develop by Monolith in the GameCube era when Monolith still was Namco Bandai property).
For some context, the two games are turn base RPG with cards, kinda like Paper Mario Color Splash but more advanced.

- Those three Consuls have the same armors as the modern-day H (R), E (Q), and B (W), but they're different people entirely. Guess Z made sure to recycle those suits for new hire.
- Oh, R wasn't controlling Glimmer. She was just speaking to her telepathically. Glimmer's just taking a while longer to adjust to opposing the endless now's conflict.
- The classic Homecoming...eh, it was something a bit...sharper.
- Likewise with the Consuls, these aren't the same Colony 5 and Gamma as the modern ones.
- I do like an autistic character that's done well, and Nikol fits that bill - his struggle to articulate, finding ways around his own hindrances (in his case, the inability to summon a Blade), and so on. Heck, took me that long to notice Shulk's own autistic quirks - though that could be because his are a tad lighter on the spectrum.
- Ah, that would be King Agni's Tomb, from Makna Forest. It's where the manual for the Monado Eater Art was.
- Look, Shulk's been in this battle for a long while. He's not really feeling it at the time.

yeah i did most of the hero quests! i just didn't do the ascension quests because i didn't even know they existed...
There actually isn't a single instance of A being referred to with gendered pronouns. So A's gender is seemingly entirely up to interpretation.
i personally think that they're more of a genderfluid than non binary hehe.
Wow someone immediately said that A is gender neutral. Kind of a spoiler if you think about it.
oh someone only said that they use they/them pronouns and that's all about it. i kinda had a feeling that they're a gender neutral as well though since uhh you know, alvis' crystal hehe.
A really has way too much drama. It's basically the juniper being nonbinary but people not believing it but in such a weirder sense? Juniper was actually coded different as a gender in the files but A is marked female in the code but not once do they use a gendered pronoun or even they/them for A which seems insane from a writing dialogue / translation standpoint but obviously we know that rex flat out says "ontos was meant to be somewhere between" when talking about pneuma and logos being female and male personas of the trinity processor but then alvis over here is just normally referred to as "he" but even in the Monado archives his gender and species is followed by "???" But even with that knowledge rex has he refers to alvis as He. It's such an unclear answer at the end of the day and while there are people who just say A is female or A is nonbinary I think more along the lines of just ontos has gender fluidity which makes A "female" A isnt the whole being of ontos so instead ontos overall would be like some Angels where they are both male and female at once. Afterall Alvis worked under a god(s) just like Angels would. At the end of the day since this is just my opinion on it which unfortunately everyone can have a different opinion on the lack of confirmation (since the game and its code contradict each other) therefore will always be a war of headcanons
