Aaahh, insisto, me encanta este gran vídeo. Una canción más y EMI incendia su batería con tanta energía positiva. Que gran baterista. Saludos desde Chile al otro lado del mundo en Latinoamérica. Noviembre 14 de 2023.
This to me, is the biggest loss to SK since the departure of Michie; she's not only a World-class drummer, but also has the best singing voice of ANY drummer that I've ever heard!
Enero 2022.
Miss you already Emi-chan, the member who came forward to me as I was nervously waiting for an autograph on CD Overdrive, after a concert in Melbourne Australia 2015. Thanks for the great upload Lou Skum
I thought it was company policy that Naoko sacks anyone who gets pregnant - it happened to the last drummer....maybe that's why Michie "left" the band as well!
+revol148 - Yes Etsuko was fired for getting pregnant, but, apparently, she has changed the policy since; Ritsuko is going on maternity leave, but is expected to return, someday. As for Emi, she just got tired of the constant touring.
+shoknifeman2 mikado I reckon the policy had to change when a few years back Naoko herself got pregnant - she could hardly fire herself ! As for Emi - yeah well travelling around south east Asia, Europe and north America playing the drums for a total of almost one hour every night really must get so,so tiring!
+shoknifeman2 mikado it seems a bit unfair to have a non-pregnant policy unless you are the founder of the band ! I would still love to know why Michie left by the way.
+revol148 At the time, Naoko said it wouldn't be fair to hire Emi with a "Etsuko's back, bye" policy; whereas, this time, she has her friend Naru filling in, knowing it's a temp gig.

Emi's almost absurd enthusiasm combined with her Marky Ramonesque drumming will be missed. Great hair tossing as well!

Lou Skum Yes it is, thanks for posting Lou!
Emi's replacement has been announced, she's Risa, the drummer of the #1 SK cover band, BRINKY!
Risa has been a great replacement! I saw SK in Chicago with Risa and she was INSANE!!!
EMI poured sensuousness out of every pore! What a lovely sweet firecracker she is!
Naoko should have offered to double her pay, to keep her!
I miss emi so much where she is now..
melencio franco She plays for a band called The Dokuros out of Kyoto.
I wish I can meet her someday. Actually I would like to get in touch with her xxx

Actually, Naoko got pregnant way before Etsuko; Emma, Naoko's daughter, just turned 15 this past week.
