the LA 😊😊 is a much better teactor I would work on that tractor 🚜 😊 next / and most of the time ⌚ 😮 if antifreze or water 💦 😮 is in the motor oil 😮😮 the head gasket is no good unless there o rings or seals arent no good dry rotten 😮😮 OMG 4 16 2O24
Both are high risks for not recovering your labor and materials costs. So Dave that's the reason I vote for neither. This way I am absolved if you take losses on them.
Good thing these tractors are for your personal collection. Not much of a market for either tractor. Do the SC first to tidy up your to do list, then you will have motivation to do the LA.
The only way that I would restore these tractors is that I would have an opportunity to use them in the field to raise crops for feeding livestock. To restore these tractors for resale, forget it. These are just parts tractors.
Well, from my perspective, the SC is the more unique of the two tractors and I would think could bring a good price if it was running, so my vote is to do the SC next.
That eclipse caused a rash of SC case renaissance. We brought a 1948 back to life yesterday & it was a one owner tractor. Was stuck, we rocked it& it came loose.
SC.. easier project that won't burn out Doc! Lamborghini was a long pull project.

DC's are a different model tractor they are bigger than the SC they look a lot alike but are very much different

I would start with the one that needs the least amount of parts and money to get running. And then go from there, but both deserve some TLC. 🚜
The SC appears to be the easier one, but I Like both tractors. You should be able to have that LA torn down in about 3 hours.
