I always thought I need a low middle as I am very front foot. But looking at my bat, majority of the ball marks are on the higher end! No wonder I can't score any runs! My grip is naturally very low so now I know what to look for in a new bat. Where are you guys based?

Great idea to look at the pattern of cherries. Just like zeroing in a rifle, shoot it aimed naturally and then adapt for the pattern you achieve.
Takes all the timing, pitch variation etc out of the equation and just go with the results.
