City construction crews have been using one of these devices on the street next to my office building downtown. Let me tell you, there's no gentle rattling sound with cheerful music playing. You think it's bad when there's a lowrider next to you at the stop light that's blasting its subwoofers and vibrating you car? Baby you ain't see... felt nothin yet! These downtown buildings are ancient. If it collapses it better do it on my day off! 🤣

We know what you mean. Compaction is never a noise-free activity. However it is necessary to ensure surface stability after a road rehabilitation or in building foundations. :)
