This is so helpful! Thank you so much. You comment on things that I find really useful, interesting, practical and funny too. 😍 This is the most valuable video on F1 at COTA that I’ve watched in my two days of research. You’ve shared tips that I would only get from attending myself! 🤩
Thanks for sharing! I am starting to get hyped for my first trip to CotA in October and this was so fun to watch! Definitely buying merch on the Friday when I get there!
what was the bag policy? on their website vs what i saw in the video at the gate is different. I'll be attending this week and super excited. thank you for the tips
I just carried a regular backpack. There’s a lot of what you see vs. what’s in the website is different. This year I’m bring my Hydroflask, because everyone had one last year.
This was helpful!! I'm planning to be at COTA next month! I'm so excited it will be my first one...and I'm going solo lol. So what the earliest shuttle you can take ?
Nice video! We are heading to the race in a couple days. Is it possible to tune into any audio or video coverage of the race while there? I’m spoiled watching the races on tv with all of the explanations of what’s going on. Thanks much!!
@@ItsAngelaGillis thanks Angela! Our group will be looking out for you to say hi and buy you a beverage! Let’s hope the cell service has improved with all the money in the sport now.
Thank you so much! I’m currently in Miami and was super shocked about the prices. I saw the GA tickets and was wondering how that experience will be. Your video made me feel comfortable about purchasing a GA ticket. Thank you Also from a F1 SuperFan
Just bought my first F1 tickets! Can’t wait to see the race! Been a Ferrari fan since MSC. By the way, is it possible to catch a 9pm flight after the race? Is the traffic horrible after the race? Or would it be better to fly out the next day? Nice video by the way.
The answer to both your questions is yes. The race should be over by 4, maybe 5 if there are significant delays. The traffic is normally pretty bad, hoping for improvement this year. With that being said the airport is really close. Last year the airport was a shuttle stop, but I'm not sure if they are doing that this year. Hope you enjoy your stay
Thank you so much for this. I'm trying to go this year. And was wondering where you could sit in the GA area. Prices mind blowing but I know it will be worth it. Will be going Sun.. ty again
hey! I'm trying to make a plan for 2022 and I have a few questions. 1. How packed were the shuttles at the pick-up locations? 2. How was the traffic getting to COTA using the shuttle? And I guess also getting back to the drop-off location. 3. How early did you get to the shuttle pick up location? 4. We are trying to book a place near the shuttle but most of them are unavailable or extremely expensive. Is it worth it to uber to the pick up location? Thanks for all the help!
The shuttles didn’t take that long in my opinion. I got to the shuttle about an hour before, and we didn’t have to wait. Shuttles left early and we got there before COTA opened. It was hectic leaving and getting back to the shuttles. You should move closer to the exit earlier. I had my own car so I don’t know about the ubering, but I know other people on the shuttles did Uber.
@@riskymilkk5225 I got there an hour before the first shuttle was scheduled to leave which I think was 8am. So we got there early, and people were already getting on the buses, and we left earlier than the first shuttle time. Also, you can ride the shuttle back and forth all day long. So I guess if you don't want to wait between practices, you can leave and come back. I wouldn't recommend leaving on Saturday and Sunday, though.
If you buy the gerneral admission ticket can you sit anywhere where it specifys gerneral admission? Im trying to buy some GA tickets and it shows me section GA4 so dont know if it only specifies for one specific are?? Also does turn 12 have a General admission lawn area you can sit at?
Hello, excellent video, I am writing to you asking a few things, I hope you can help me, I search and can't find any information haha. I'm in SA, I'm not American, I don't have a car, I want to travel as cheaply as possible to the circuit Friday Saturday and Sunday. I read that there is free public transportation from downtown Austin, is it real? I appreciate your information :D
You have to get a parking pass to park at the circuit. If you don't have a pass you can't park. You can take a shuttle from downtown Austin or the mall. Did you purchase parking with your ticket?
Who is your favorite F1 driver?
Hello Angela! Senna for sure! Nowadays Verstappen👏

Lewis and Daniel

Question: if i take the shuttle bus from the barton creek mall, can i park my car in the mall then take the shuttle bus?
Yep! I feel that’s the best place to take the bus from.

How come they don’t touch it let you take coolers in there like Texas Motor Speedway
I guess because it's f1 and they want you to spend the money!

You will need to pay for a shuttle.
As someone who is flying in and renting a car. Are there parking spots within a 5km radius of the track to where we could park at?
You have to get a parking pass to park at the circuit. If you don't have a pass you can't park. You can take a shuttle from downtown Austin or the mall. Did you purchase parking with your ticket?
Last year we parked on the neighbor's lot across the street from the track. $40 a day Fri/Sat and $50 on Sunday. No problem getting in and out.

What does ground pass admission mean?
You bring a chair or blanket and sit on the lawn.
