What player or matchup do you want to see play the most? I love seeing everyone's input!
imagine showing this to a pro 5 years ago and tell them "ya you've gotta learn all this"
Show it to a pro 5 years ago and tell them he isnt even in rlcs yet.
a pro 5 years ago would've been like 7 years old@@LoafyGoofy
@@LoafyGoofy Bro the kid i think it's 14 or less, so he can't play on rlcs
@@Shardmind?
@@Chiliamshes not old enough (nor good enough) for rlcs
His recoveries are so quick, he's so fast on ZERO boost, and he has a creative arsenal of offense. Yep, he's him.
It's the zapdashes, they'll change the game completely
@@peterjackoville4272They already have! Seen a lot of different ranks utilising them.
stop riding my bro
It's insane that he gets Max speed on zero boost. Such a cool dash mechanic
@@davidjr4903 The best defense is a great offense.

That was absolutely insane

@@ИванШиляев-ы2щ evample isnt beating real pros though not the same hes a freestyler dark is doing this to people like okhalid and daniel

@@Soulzwtwfr
11:51 From here to the goal, the movement, no words..
His ability to keep/create momentum is incredible
The lack of hesitation is so interesting to watch. It adds so much to his speed even on plays that seem impossible to score. What a dangerous player
He's always doing something and still staying in control. I don't think there's many pros that can do that. Also his recoveries are so quick, concise and consistent those are what I'm most impressed by cause he can definitely reproduce those more than his on the ball mechs
He's like what Forky once dreamed to become U_u
@@CactousMan639 LMAOOO
Is he anywhere on the 2s leaderboards though?
@opliko He doesn't play well with others. He needs to work on that. I've seen him play 3s and 2s on stream, and it's like he's too fast. Doesn't take away from the fact he might be one of the mechiest players in the world.
@@Koinoyokan01 Yeah thanks, I asked cuz I actually can't watch him play, the constant camera spamming makes me sick/dizzy
Please, this guy is evidently such a talent, there’s no way there’s no one thinking about nurturing him into the pro scene
ones is so significantly different than threes that it makes more sense to pick guys who are accustomed to threes play style.
@@based__381 bro 1's and 3's have literally never been more similar than they are now with the high importance of mechanics in 1's. Also, for basically the entire history of RLCS, some of the biggest prodigies ever made their names in ones (Firstkiller, Daniel, Zen, etc.), so your comment literally makes no sense
@@based__381Dark also plays a decent amount of 2v2 , he is around 1900mmr in 2v2 , that is SSL I believe
even back in the day the best players were often top 1s players as well (Kronovi, Scrub Killa, Fairy Peak, Kuxir etc) @@PatsBoi24
@@PatsBoi24even still dark isn’t a top 1s or 2s player rn, he’s arguably the best itw when it comes to mechanics but he has below average defense, a predictable play style and too much aggressive/ball chasing tendencies which is Even worse in a game mode like 3s, we saw similar things with nwpo when he first busted on but he’s since fixed and adapted, dark on the other hand has a long way to go to disciplining himself to be ready for rlcs
Gotta be the highest peak RL has ever seen. Sometimes when he has 0 boost his dash recoveries are so good he doesn’t need boost. He’s so versatile in every aspect it’s incredible to watch
Maybe in 1's, but even then still probably not. It's flashy mechs, not perfect play.
@@Ecc0thedolphin1337When he beat Daniel he played perfectly , and Daniel at that time was clearly in the top 2 of 1v1

So true lol
i thought'bout that too lmao
Literally what controller can survive this man's abuse
He is computer player I think
Dark is absolutely insane and one of the most fun players to watch BY A MILE. Please keep them dark vids coming mr feer!
one of the best shots I've seen 4:42
It's insane but not really as unique as his other ones.
@@TRJKwhat makes it unique is when he got the second flip he was literally next to the ball, most players at this point will try to take a 50 and recover but dark managed to get another rest under the ball and a 4th one to the top this what make it insane one
@@rahmiEE I can't really speak for other but I wouldve done the same thing in that situation. If anything the 4 reset is the more unique one here, but not as much as his other ones. If anything, my comments are praising the uniqueness of his other shots, not downplaying this one.
@@rahmiEEIdk, I feel like you just need to understand how resetting works. I can do triple resets, and his car was defo in a position to get that next reset. This shot is impressive but not unique, it’s just a quad reset
the flip into the wall at 5:40 is absolutely insane
just a flip :p
i just can't explain what he did at 13:39 when turning into the corner
We have to notice the level these games are played at as well: the first game, as you said, was problably played in the 1400s, tho is opponent (King di Benevento = Gladiator) usually sits in the 1500/1550 range mmr and it's not rare to see him in the top 100 leaderboard, so it was a crazy matchup which showed the difference between a knowingly solid-defensive extremely strong player (Gladiator) against a madly mechanic innovator (Dark). The second matchup is intresing again because of Dark's opponent, Killua, who is again a European very high rated (pretty often top 100) 1s player, tho differently from Gladiator he is a more aggressive/flashy player: the behavior, again, of Dark is unseen, he has crazy recoveries which allow him to go for challenges no one would try, from the use of wall dashes in a consistent and efficient way no one got to to the use of the aZapatos dashes comfortably along the game, we can see how he has raised the skill ceiling notably. If he works more on solidity and patience, we will for sure see him sit on top of the 1v1 scene.
I'd love to see Killua and Dark in a 2v2 match together.
The assertion that "uncanny equals moistable, Chief Beef" introduces an intriguing and potentially whimsical perspective. While the terms "uncanny" and "moistable" are typically not directly related, associating them in the context of Chief Beef could imply a fusion of unpredictability and adaptability. Chief Beef, perhaps symbolizing a guide or mentor figure, could advocate for embracing the unpredictable and adapting to various situations. This unique amalgamation might suggest that navigating the uncanny, or the unexpected, is a pathway to becoming more adaptable, akin to the moistable quality-something malleable and responsive to change. In this conceptual blend, Chief Beef might represent a mentorship figure encouraging individuals to find strength and growth in the uncanny, embracing the unpredictability of life.
@@bets77. Wise words sir, wise words.
@@alevillani yes very wise
2:50 that was such an insane shot. Posturing up as if he's going to pogo and then last second transitioning into a wavedash low shot
Holy hell I've only watched five minutes and damn, he plays exactly like I wish I could. Wavedashing off of nearly every landing, chaindashing on the wall, 180 wavedashing to turn around when convenient... I can do all of these things in isolation in freeplay, but to intelligently use them in a high level game is freaking awesome. I haven't played RL in months and this more than anything makes me want to pick up my controller.
Dark is the player that I enjoy watching most out of all 1v1 players. Its crazy how fast and mechanical he plays
if dashing like that becomes something required to climb ranks, i'm afraid i might have to give up on the whole pursuit
this guy is just incredible
It won't. Trust me. It's effecting the outcome of the game by 0.5% with the dashes. Also Dark isn't a high ranked player. Kaydop who only binded air roll left last year is 300 mmr above him
@@jaspuhh.that’s not true. While it won’t have a crazy effect. Pro players can definitely use the dashes to keep momentum it’s already being used now just not to that extent. Also high SSL is definitely a high rank lmao I dont know what else can be considered a high rank. He’s not a TOP player but a high rank player he definitely is.
@@jaspuhh.bruh did you play hoops recently? i swear i remember playing someone with ur name, it was like highish mmr hoops
@@hexrl lmao yeah. I was kinda clapping that session. I'm low ssl at the moment. 1270
@@desmanhope5099 I'm not saying they wont be used in pro play effectively. I'm saying it won't be a mechanic that needs to be learnt to get a higher rank. It creates too small of an impact on the whole result to be so. You're not going to be held out of a rank because 5 times in a game you didn't initiate a Jolt of speed to outpace someone in a couple challenges after landing. That's not how that works. Also you say high ssl. Dark is a 2k sitting player. 100 MMR in to ssl. That is low ssl closing in on mid SSL
5:43 the flip to get back to the wall is beyond creative.
This guy is like therapy to watch. He's so clean
He doesn't need boost ,Boost needs him!
He is the boost
12:03 walldash on the curve of the goal thats the dark save
Dude I did not catch the ceiling dash on his way out the first time. That is actually crazy holy god 😧
Yep, that was disgusting
Damn I didn’t notice that, that was filthy
I do it a lot out of boredom in fp, (even the reverse way, in from top of the goal upside down, wavedash on the curve, and out on the bottom), but i always thought it was too fast of a move to pull off/ time with the opponents shot, it's so crazy to see someone who can actually harness the crazy speed boost that it gives.
the amount of dashes is scary insane. seeing more of this in RLCS in the next season is gonna be a treat.
You likely won't, this type of play is really boost heavy and requires you to hard commit, which doesn't often fit into proper pacing in 3's.
@@Ecc0thedolphin1337these dashes are the opposite of boost heavy
we have already started seing the use of crazy walldashes last season, this is just an upgrade. also, most of the insane dashing I am talking is dashing on 0 boost, so not boost heavy at all@@Ecc0thedolphin1337
@@Ecc0thedolphin1337 It feels like he uses boost because he can, not because he can't manage it. We see more and more pros using wall chain dashes allready and with a way dark uses them he only need pad of boost to be able to go for pretty much any ball that is close to the wall or ground
5:42 getting bumped and just doing a bizarre dash back to the wall so he can keep doing wavedashes and keep pressure on zero is just so unbelievable absurd, in awe of the skill displayed
5:44 that recovery is insane
I haven’t been this stunned watching someone play in a while. He may not be the best, but his style is going to influence the foundation of the next player that’s going to be the next Zen.
What if he’s the next Zen but it’s just taking him longer.
Bro his wave dashs and his
playstyle are fun to watch ❤
3:00 wtf unhuman shot!
being able to generate power on the ball that normally comes from having boost at any point without actually having boost is insane. this game gonna be completely different in five years
Bro is TAS in a mortal form 😂
It’s horrifying to even imagine what this monster could do with TAS💀
The diversity of Dark’s offensive arsenal makes him so entertaining to watch. However, it is his relentless speed and immaculate recoveries that make him special, IMO
5:42 the way he dashes to the wall to chain wavedash is incredible
Dark is such an innovator I love it
Gives off the same energy as any of those overpowered characters in anime that just teleport around slaughtering everyone
What have I been saying every fucking month yall think he hasn’t got it but this man is gonna shine
This guy must have fell into a vat of adderal as a kid or something. His inputs per second must be higher than anyone else in the game. Crazy mechanics
Absolutely insane... How consistently he is hitting zap dashes is so ridiculous
we gotta have him back in the showmatches. he's truly evolved on the pogos, speed, and recovery!
4:40 just a casual quad-reset to score from the corner
dude is crazy lol
Anyone remember fortnite from several years back? As people got good at building, speed builders emerged. Savage, Mongral, Erictriceps, etc. They made an unbelievable amount of mistakes because it was a ridiculous pace to play at, but they practiced for a while and now they're exceptional. I think the same thing is happening with Dark. He's pioneering this type of movement as regular.
He's gotten so much better than his show match debut it's insane... he's only going up and he's taking the bar with him
Nobody gonna talk about this goal? 6:50
I really like the shot at 0:43
11:34 It's super easy to turn around like that hence why it happens so often randomly. Just wavedash with your car slightly airrolled so one side lands first, then flip cancel the wavedash. You can hold powerslide to enhance the effect but its not always needed.
6:55 okay what the hell, he's just so goddamn creative
5:39 - 5:50 might be the craziest movement ive ever seen. how do you even think like that
I literally shoutet “what” when I saw that
5:43 What is this movement!? This is the future for sure!
Once he gets 100% used to playing at this speed he’ll be the best in the world
that’s what i’m saying. He needs a good team tho
The relentless speed and aggression of Dark are incredible!
5:48 is crazy. Noone has movement like this
i do (real)
That's the result of using a cheat called GoS.
From 5:38
that first game was just on another level!! hes insane
"He's showing us the future."
Dark.
absolute mad man, always interesting to watch him play
BROTHER the shot at 2:04 was fuckin RUDE, all the sudden holding still after that much chaos was brilliant (I know it's probably just a normal fake but it was really really unexpected, it was such a surprise that I yelled 'goddamn' out loud when it happened. he's just so frantic it completely didn't make sense). He's so awesome to watch, his abuse of wavedashes is inspiring and what I wanted to be when I was playing this game more. I hope he goes far, he's easily my new favorite pro if he carries on. This is the way I've always wanted to play, and the reason that 400 of my 450 hours of RL are in freeplay. Let's go Dark! Can't wait to see him on a pro team!
Holy hell I've only watched another two minutes and damn, he plays exactly like I wish I could.
Still one of the most fun players to watch lol i never get bored when hes playing well 😂🔥
I can't tell what was more impressive, the quad reset starting off away from the goal or the pogo backwards flick.
5:43 dash heaven
Oh, you think Boost is your ally. But you merely adopted the Boost, i was born in it, moulded by it.
3:26 OMFGGG☠
Totally missed a "The Future is Dark" title but other than that holy cow.
I would LOVE to watch him play freestyle road to SSL in 2s with Evample, I hope something like that gets to happen
11:47 that is a terrifying challenge from Dark.
3:27 that.. is just ridiculous
I watched that game live on his stream, that was insane while he was casually answering subscribers questions!!!
Dark is like the Apex Legends Streamer Faide. He has INSANE movement and control and yet utilizes it so effectively and efficiently.
3:30 just makes you go "damn, too clean"
Did we all just forget that the “in and out” save is called a squishy save?
I had my hands on my head and my mouth open for most of this match.
Every goal in the first game except the last one that the opponent scored was Dark making a single mistake. If this playstyle can be perfected, he'll be dangerous.
4:38 jfc my dude is playing a different game
I am in C1 atm and I dash as much as I can, saving that boost is key. I can only imagine how it'll be in a few years.
It will be like him lol
12:05 I had to watch this 5 times to realize he's getting a dash and extra jump on the inside of his own goal. He's so speedy some of the challenges on the walls and ceilings don't even look real
This dude is pretty insane. If he can get his consistency down he would be dangerous on the 1's scene. Dude is so fast around the pitch.
the kickoff was a front-flip half-flip. You can chain it with regular half-flips and just go down the field half-flipping
5:26 use of wave dash is insane
The quad reset from the first touch going backwards blew my mind.🤯
When dark appears in the ln the lobby, that's when the eurobeat starts.
11:50 his ceiling challenges are INSANE
10:50 to 12:10 had me cackling, he's so clean it's silly

That has to be some of the best movement to start a game I’ve seen. Wow!!
I've never seen anyone do that dash and remain so close to the ground
